i am playing a game that rewards you with OP eqps when u get lv cap and choose to reset u char back to lv1, some ppl ar using bots to get lv cap and sell those eqps for money, i think that 5 days ago they added a system that everytime u talk to this npc u need to write a random code to get access to the quest.
maybe this should solve bots problem
or even a anti-bot system like ragnarok that every 30mins u get a unstatus that make u unable to move/click and u need to write a code to move again

just remove or replace this "you could accept this quest countless times".
instead only once /day with reasonable rewards.

Exp still have intrinsic value to it as it contributes directly to the gameplay. Its just the matter of adjusting the rate if thats what youre referring to. I wasnt referring to exp as actual currency you could trade with. It becomes pseudo-currency that supplies the spina onto market without being affected as much as pure spina concerned since its value heavily relies on tradable items supply and demand. The level itself have been obsolete ever since the exp level range boost was implemented. My point still stands, by attaching exp onto spina you will create a currency that acts similar to how gold is valued in the real world economy. Pure spina is detached from this intrinsic value as it allows you to do direct trade with it. We will have a sustainable fresh spina source.

I dont think that's a good idea. It's not so OP to the point where you'd have to do something like that. If it were 30k spina and 300k exp I could understand. But you dont have to remove this quest. Do you honestly think its going to mess up the economy that bad?

I meant this game mechanic where you could take quest w/o limits.
Its not even realistic in the first place and dirty money is produced.
I've partied up with ppl in the spot and I'm seeing more and more players are able to one shot MS after MS in a short amount of time(where I'm guessing that hacks were being used).

    I've said
until 300k spina is worth sh*t.
    easy orichalcum

Considering the amount of people abusing this quest and the lack of reasonable ways to remove spina from the market, it's quite possible.
Most of the time, games aren't realistic.

With proper equips you can kill MS pretty quickly, it only has like 300k HP.

MS is easy to kill if you have good equipments. my 1mp combo can sometimes 1 shot or 2 shot the boss.

and also, I do agree. Orihalcum is so easy to buy now

Anyone who has played iruna has experienced rapid devalue of spina, its very frustrating to grind for a month in order to buy an item worth 80m only to find out that its currently 300m cuz of inflation... Then farming for 300m and you still cant afford the goddamn thing after another month!!!

By the time i quit theyre using xtals as currency since high end items are priced way more than the spina cap... So yes it's something to overreact...

Ok maybe it will mess up the economy a little bit, but the people saying Toram will turn out like Iruna economy wise? Please. Iruna has been out for 10 years. Toram hasn’t even reached its 5th anniversary. Be realistic and stop comparing it to Iruna. Do you guys honestly think that an OP quest and a brief influx of modders is going to ruin the economy to the point where we’ll be using xtals for currency? Besides, a decade is plenty of time for an economy to fail, and by the time Toram reaches a decade in age, 75% of current players won’t even be playing it anymore, anyways. Give me a break.

For the past few months other than buying energy bottles, Ive mostly self-sufficient. Still using old FC gears as they do the job just right. before Energy bottles came around I also farm flower nectars and make revitas with my tec char, which doesnt even require high level to do its job. Toram has a high degree of self sufficiency. Additional gears could be obtained relatively easy.n Drop items are getting better. Some can even be a better option compared to player statted ones. And those great stuff are usually untradable items which requires you to participate in limited time, high difficulty events. I love how the recent nice event items push people to make certain builds. Before NPC gears were less significant Ive always thought that these meta players were so uninteresting. They all have practically the same setup. Its kinda funny when people asks gear builds when they're practically the same stuff. There were no "legendary" class items classics to mmorpg prior to the overpowered event gears. Why does Iruna uses xtals as currency? Its because they have inherent value to it. Spina quest is a fixed value, same thing with your timei availability. As long as devs manages the botting problem. Spina value woud still reach the equilibrium.

For those who enjoys making builds, having optimized gears would also not be a top priority. I could play all roles, as I have all the weapon class to use depending on the situation. If I feel like playing the tank, I can just do so. Need CF? sure. Stationary bosses? Spam em tenryuus with gsw. high defense bosses? DT them all the way. Even when Iniflation happens, players wont be too dependent on trades. That would also help to stabilize the market. Idk about Iruna since I dont play it much, but I think toram has plenty of features outside of spina usability to fully enjoy the game. For example, even if trade were to be removed(Jbazt would be happy about it), the game itself would still be functional, in a sense that players still have many stuff to do. And then its not like the social interaction aspect would be closed off as you still need to party up with others to do the difficult boss battles.

to solve that we need to address the botting problem itself instead of limiting the quest amount. If everyone were legit then then time itself is the limit, we only have 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. There will be a point where the spina generation from the quest wont be as worth as it is currently. When there is enough spina circulating around the market. People would move on to farm consumables and material and eventually, there will be a balance between natural spina farm and market trades. Its basically the same thing with how skeleton farm slowly became a less viable farming option when the price standard increased. In theory prices will stop inflating once it reach the saturation point where the spina farm from the skeletons reach the point of "just enough" to be considered as a farming option by players, but bot users push this point beyond the limit by increasing the inflation rate with their unmatched capability in hoarding the items efficiently beyond what the players could do. Eventually, the spot is left altogether by legit players. The existences of these bots also made the illusion of a steady market. When in reality we are riding the flow of dirty spina. Basically, its these bot users that controls the inflation rate indefinitely rather than players.

With exp/spina quest, WHILE keeping the bots managed, the rate of inflation/deflation will be more natural and dependent on the natural limitations, such as the rate of incoming new players/quitting players, the overall activity of player base, and other natural market factors instead of a pseudo variable which is bots. Giving a quest limit would do nothing in the big picture, its possibly worse since youre putting an artificial limitation that does nothing better than this already existing limit in the available time one could play. I think the rate of this spina quest isnt to far fetched in a sense of getting legit players back to farm natural spina source, had it lower than the current spina amount in the market then it will just a useless attempt on reducing the bots contribution on spina circulation if the players wont farm them at all. Yes we might be seeing exorbitant spina amount once the prices stabilizes. But that is not the actual problem that, compared to the benefits of this implementation of exp/spina quest.

With this quest, the devs could finally do some significant action to repress the bots by giving restrictions in these quest spots that would make botting difficult/inefficient to do, while keeping it within normal, legit players capability. Before this update removing bots altogether would have also have detrimental effect, that is deflation. Prices would go so low to the point of players coming back to farm them skeletons. Its basically the same difference wtih the curent spina quests. So which one is a better option? Skeleton farm or Boss farming quest, that, is the question. The difference is that its easier to manage bots on boss farm rather than mob farm because of the degree of the difficulty for it to autonomize with programs. For example if the bots were to be banned, it took considerably more effort in making another dummies in boss farming case.

You know what would be ideal? A quest that uses algorithm that adjusts itself to give the amount of reward depending on the current amount of spina circulating in the market. The variable involved would be at the very least, the rate of spina spent on in-system spina sink, the amount of active players, and the rate of people quitting the game(inactivity for a period of time). The spina reward will be adjusted whether its monthly, weekly, daily, or after every maintenance. That would allow a more stable prices.
