Hey all, I just started playing yesterday and I can already tell I'll be here for a long time. Before I get too deep into it, I have a question I need help with. I've scoured the games guide section and everything there is way over my head and it's very difficult to find what I'm looking for.

Anyway, I'm level 37 and I'm using a bow. I want to make sure I put my skill points and stat points in the right areas to save my resets in case something goes wrong. So, basically, where should I be putting them? I can't seem to find any guides for people under level 70... So far I've put every stat point into dexterity, and as for skill points I've put 10 into shot mastery, 5 points into power shot and 7 into Moeba Shot. I have 26 skill points and I'm too scared to use them.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I just learned and maxed MP Charge, so I now have 16 skill points remaining

You should try to raise your level more to unlock tier 3 skills. Its level requirement is 70 and is more beneficial for you to spend the points you have on those tier 3 skills.

Thanks, yea I'm working on that - my question is for the meantime, before level 70...

The advice for new players on "what you should do first" is always "finish the main quest". If you finish the main quest, you will reach level 130+ with current storyline, having more levels means having more hp, more mp, more damage, more skill points, and access to powerful tier 3 skills(which unlocks at level 70), which in your your case(bow user) is snipe, which is your main damage skill before reaching level 150. Everything will be considerably easier if you are higher level.

There are several ways to finish MQ the fastest, and since you said you already scoured the games guide section then you should be familiar with the very good advice of running from the boss, reset difficulty to easy upon going back to their map, and getting a good attack mercenary to help you kill the boss(you need to have friends or guild mates with good attack merc for this), or have someone else help you kill it if they're available.

As always, it would greatly help if you have a Guild or friends who are already high lvl and are experienced with the game to help you with the little things, like giving you some revitas, vita plus, etc. stuff like those costs virtually nothing for high level players, but are costly for newbies who have just started the game.

If you don't have a guild yet, you can join ours, just fill up the application form, https://toramonline.com/index.php?t...itment-on-hold-until-after-anniversary.40745/ , I can make an exception with recruitment since we might have more than enough slots left.

We don't really look at the skills "before level 70" except the passive skills, at most just put 5 sp on the active skills before tier 3 at lvl 70, you dont wanna waste precious sp on tier 1 or 2 skills if you use bow. With the right merc it's very easy to reach lvl 70 anyway by going through MQ, my merc usually 1 shots easy mode bosses.

So you're saying i should save up my SP until 70, then use them all on my tier 3 skill, which is snipe? How about my stat points?

Bow is usually Dex > Str (and some in CRT depending on your equipment), that is maxing out DEX before trying to max out STR. Are you only using the Shot skill tree now?
After unlocking T3 skills, you will spend probably spend your points in the following fashion:
Power Shot (5), Bullseye (5), Arrow Rain (5), Snipe (10), Moeba (7) [You can put 1 in Moeba or at least 5 if you want Paralysis Shot (1)]
Shot Mastery (5), Long Range (5), Quickdraw (5) [5 for now, can be put later to 10]

You should definitely get the Magic skill tree for Impact:
Magic: Arrows (5), Magic Javelin (5), Magic Lance (5), Magic: Impact (7)
    MP Charge (1) [it's optional]

You could also put 1 (5, or more later) into Meikyo Shisui, not sure about that though.
