    From what I've read, during fusion, both pets power are added together. However, if the power is higher than the level of your pet, it will not have a chance to gain additional power

    Regardless, by constantly fusing your pets together, it should be attain to attain infinite amounts of power to your pet through an exceptionaly tedious, and painful grind.

    For example;
    Pet A (100power) + Pet B (100) = Pet C (200 power)
    Pet X (100 power) + Pet Y (100) = Pet X (200 power)

    Pet C (200) + Pet X (200) = Pet S (400power)

    Then repeat this process again to attain 800 power, then 1600, and so on. Am I missing something, or is there a cap to power?

    Only thing that is not capped is the stats and the number of times pets can be fused(counter will stop counting at 9,999. Prep up a good dragon ball meme if you post a screen cap). Only way to make an op pet is to fuse clone copies(not nessesarily same app and level even nature, but stats must be the same for stats bonuses to pile up across the generations.) And a crap load of elbow grease to cap all of them as fast as posibble. Best be done by a capped char for fastest results(since you can grind your pet at better targets for maximum pet exp possible)

    I've always been bad at understanding inheritance in general. Wouldn't bonus potential pts. become insignificant after 2 generation cycles? If other words, isn't bonus potential gained only from the parents, and grandparents? Because fusion takes potential, combines and then averages it?

    I would like to refer you to this thread. This guy's build is focused on vit. Of course im no math geek to explain exact calculation on how the heck it reached 700vit through the generations.(and in small amount of fusions too to boot)

    Right there you are. A tamer who intends to fuse all of their pets and wants to spend the fewest skill points on Taming could get by with 10 points in Taming and 10 in Skillful Capture, so long as they don't need to increase the timer via Capture Techniques. The bonus potential from Careful Capture is small potatoes if the pet will be fused.

    I tend to discipline my pets according to where they fall on an inheritance chart. Final products and parents I discipline as "thoroughbred", 50% Discipline bonus and HARD. Grandparents (and more remote) as "stock", which is to say I feed them 3000s food but discipline them no matter what the bonus is-- EASY if there is no discipline bonus, HARD if there is a 10% or better discipline bonus. The reason is that the difference in potential between the two methods contributes very little from grandparents, there is roughly a half chance that you might get an extra one point of potential.

    Potential VIT is 320,
    When LVL 100 will reach 100% potential, and after LVL100, each Level will give you Potentail Stat * (Total Lvl /100), so is 320*(180/100) = 576
    LVL 180 mean you got 180 stat point, 576 + 180 = 756. Another 17 point should be from Fusion Bonus

    That person PET is genius types, if he use Physical Defend Type which come with 120 VIT at the beginning, he should be able to reach 360 VIT at potential and 800 VIT at the end.

    Pet is already weak yet aso keeps nerfing it... (nearly) infinite power pet is acceptable seeing the effort of the pet trainer.
