pet atk power is capped at max player level x2. 190 x2 = 380, even if the pet goes well over it via multiple fusions.

I wonder if they should raise it to x3 instead, due to player weapons now reaching up to 600 (base) atk power but oh wait... devs said they will further nerf pets o_O

A 180 Ram Potum, a 180 Rem Potum, and three Perro ranging from 178-180 (farmed two, bought one from off the CB). Keep in mind I did all this while there was a +100% XP bonus from the rollback stuff they gave us until the end of June and without it, hmmm I'm honestly not sure if I would have finished.

I leveled two skills to 10 (one started 4 the other 5) on two different Perro right around when the xp bonus started and more or less had everything mapped out, but then the Re: Zero event happened. I managed to get lucky with the Rem/Ram I captured and it made me only need five total pets (4 fusions) to get the eventual pet I wanted vs the six it would have taken with the Perro only method I had previously planned.

As for leveling the pets, I typically went from several lower level one shot mobs until 50 > Big mask until 70 > Metal Stinger until 82 > Don Yeti until 100 > Lapin until 124 > Wandering Wheel until capped. For the early pets, which could not keep aggro very well or not the highest in HP I used my own BG merc, which seemed to always take aggro from my CF after two auto attacks. When I leveled a devoted pet I would also add in hard and nightmare BKOD instead of Don Yeti.

As I was leveling the first pet to cap, I started thinking there is no way I'm even going to finish getting one to 178+ and I had doubts I could do it, but around this time a guildie of mine told me CF could easily one shot WW. This added a second bonus to grinding pets to 180, that being I could farm WW xtal and it was really nice because WW was around 4m at the time slowly decreasing to 2.5-3m until I was done capping the final pet.

Lastly, I had a lot of life potions! I typically leveled two pets at a time and once they were over 100 or so I would almost exclusively level them when they got xp+50% bonus. Needles to say, this combo allowed me to get the full 8 hours of xp+50% bonus and I also always had the option to hibernate the pets without time counting down in the event I wanted to take a break for a few hour or even a few days. There were times towards the end where I'd go for a day or two without leveling any pets, waiting for one of them to get xp+50%.

Most of the above was trial and error, but I do feel there is a so much valuable info in this pet/taming section of the forum and again I'm very helpful to everyone who has contributed.

Woo thanks for sharing. Interesting how you went from 120s all the way to the end on just ww. I was thinking to only start on ww from 150+. How many ww xtals did you pick up during this time? And yes its a real shame how the price of ww has plummeted since...
