how do I get my finalle to produce critical?

 

Weaken the enemy and take spellburst, stack your critical gears.
Though the chances are still really low and I wouldnt trust in it criting a lot

 

weaken the enemy means to give bad status to the enemy?

 

There is an ailment called weaken, thats what you use

NOTES ON WEAKEN:
Effect: Allow magic skills to critical. Also reduce MagicDef of non boss enemies by 25%
Magic Critical:
--A magic skill can critical if it has element weakness of the enemy while the enemy is inflicted by WEAKEN ailment
--The overall critical rate is halved however it is unaffected by crit resist of the enemy
--The overall critical damage is reduced to (100 + (TotalCDMG - 100)/2)


But it’s wont works on finale because Finale damage is Neutral ( No element ).
The only ways you can make finale Critical is using Battle Skilll LvL4 - Spellburst.
This skill can make your Critical Rate become Magic Critical rate, the convert is 1/4, mean you need 400 Critically rate to make your finale 100% success Critical.

 

magic critical doesn't require element weakness anymore. only the status rate boost is element dependant.
the main reason why finale doesn't work with weaken is the timing. weaken lasts only 5s, and unlike buffs where you just need to activate the skill before the buff ends, debuffs only apply if the skill hits while the debuff is still active.
you would need a party member to inflict weaken while you are casting finale, so that you can hit before the effect ends.

 

Sad to say, weaken still needs advantageous element for magic crit to proc. The cheapest way twould be ether flare and elem slash as they both yse ms sub elem

 

for finale, to make a sure hit critical if i recall you need 400 crit, which is pretty a insane amount of numbers, tho it seems that you could reach it if you have proto clarity, curious dress, takoyaki head, +10 crit from xtal, lv10 Crit Up and distributed 255 stat to CRT. But, it will deal way less damage compared to normal build so i cant advice you to try.
