I also have -100% aggro (wep, xtal + food) so can happily hide behind a tank merc, or any other player, all day.

The original idea is to play a different dps support to pair up nicely with a ktn tenryu spammer, but the dps from a well prorated enchant is impressive too

 

imo this build is best with 2h weapon
- high auto atk damage from rampage+berserk
- 1str add 3 atk
- 1int add 3 matk

 

Its fun with gsw too

 

Why is knux bad for this build again? I mean the agi adds 3 attack and int adds 4matk for knux which is really weird and might be handy for knux imo. With the magic blade conversion adding knux to it will be a good boost to raise matk even further.

 

Agi adds 2 atk only. Could be decent with tonfa but your gear is restricted so not to easy to get 100crit and stack add damages at the same time. Knux conversion is a welcome boost though, since it only used to add just 50% wep atk power to matk. Now its rightfully back to 100%

 

How about bowgun using double barrel? It also gains 3mtk from int and 4atk and 1matk from dex and critic issue can be solved using meikyo, I mean you only auto attack and also magic blade conversion also works for bowguns.

 

As one of the last vestiges of uncharted builds, i would say its worth a try
I have a bg/md build myself, but its purely a luk cf/maximizer spam char

 

That being said... dex/int stats would allow for mixed atk/matk as well as bonus cspd for magic skills on the side. Though not sure about double barrel and that -aspd stat. You might be stuck chugging speed pots all the time...

Try playing around on coryn club stat simulator.

Imma throw a spare thought into tonfa +100crit + how much add attack i can still stack on top.

For reference, i have a 2h hell reaper add attack setup (with 3 unsheathe xtals) that nets me 4.1k atk and 3k matk (lvl 173 rn). But i only have 150% add atk/matk (from tentacle roar only). Its a fun build where im deliberately avoiding decoy+impact and using gsw+trigger+rampage for mp management instead

 

It's not a biggie with pots around and also % means base attack speed reduction, welp i have wandering wheel on my tentacle roar so -30 attack speed won't pose much of a problem.

So theorycrafting... it's possible for tonfa md evoker. 100 crit + md sub + 250% add atk and 275%add matk (not including any ava stats yet). Equal agi-int stats would net 2k atk and 2.3k matk. Md sub would give bonus of power wave so can more safely auto with full brave+gsw stacks. Can chariot from afar and also drop finale bomb (with 1.2k cspd and md bonus) on suitable occasion too. Refill mp with maximser... downsides are no defensive skill (unless elegant poise) and could have aggro issues.

I would need to move around a lot of xtals to test this out though...

 

If for finale, can use sneak.

 

I like the thread btw. With the new event bg this type of build seems more feasible than ever. Bg with magic dagger ice crystal equip. There is an additional that gives 100% additional magic and 150 m. attack I cant remember the name and 30% addinal from ring. And since bg gets benefits from magic skill tree I would say it's the best budget build for this so far. Stats wise I am thinking max DeX and then int with hidden arm. So that way I can do good attack damage as well as shot skills and play around with hunter skills. This will be my next build I just have to finish a current one atm

 

For reference, I tried this with the strongest 2h currently, a 2s hell reaper (grec+neo maton) with mixed atk/matk stats gear (and sword conversion ofc). Ended up with 4k atk and 3.5k matk. Only had tentacle roar for add attacks (150% each) and 40% each from avatars, but the add attacks felt a bit lacklustre for all the short range risk (i was using gsw, berserk and rampage buffs for max motion+auto power) and the char ended up relying more on enchant sword for dps so the experiment kinda went off course as i was levelling her up...

If i was to try it again, that new bg is VERY tempting, but i would still prefer knux/md at the end of the day as agi stat naturally adds to aspd...
