Does anyone have the updated list of popular ingredients to get for material points?

As per title. Thanks in advance!

 

For:
Wood = Young think branch and ivy vine, both drops from Ivy
Metal = God stone and cracked halo, both drops from bubble angel
Medicine = Broken ice pillar and crushed ice, both drops from acernix
Beast = Not sure about the most popular one, but since a lot of people are farming finpen for the exp quest, there's a lot of supply of yellow beak, so I think that's the most cost effective beast mat...
Cloth = Soft fin which drops from finpen, I also think this is the most cost effective one because of the same reason mentioned above, mysterious shiny cloth which also drops from bubble angel gives more cloth mats, but is more expensive

 

Wood: Peligro Area killing Machina mob
Metal: Bubble Angel, Farming EB can Give you Metal Mats also from boars
Medicine, acernix and grape jelly
Beast: Boars from farming EB also and at Taurnus mine depeest part(forgot the name of the mob)
Cloth: I usually do cassy when SS was not out yet but idk where to farm, maybe at rokoko I guess from Alto like mobs.

 

My go-to material farming spot:
Wood : Peligro Landfill - Plant Machina
Beast + Metal : Skye Deep Valley - Mech Little Boar
Medicine : Ultimea Sewer:Southeast - Grape Jelly
Cloth + Mana : Ancient Empress Tomb - Cassy, Lutaros Cavern - Voda Roar (Summer Only)

This is, imo, the most efficient way to farm materials since you kill two birds with one stone twice.

 

Wouldn't Coffee Jelly also be a choice for med mats? Not sure about the farming spot, but I'm pretty sure that there are still people farming that because of the Bitter Gelatin, a material you need for the Top Hat.

 

Cloth : Wing and Apron from Meditating Potum at Heresy Corridor
Wood : Branch and Vine from Ivy at Dark Dragon Shrine
Metal : Halo and Stone from Bubble Angel Blue at Shrine of the Gods A2
Beast : Venomsh drops at Sewer South
Meds : Acernix or Grape Jelly

Most of them are high lvl mobs, easier for High Matk luk mage or luk hb.

yes, for mana if you have a high damage luk farmer like luk hb you can farm comrabys below the platform where shampy is at

Is the mana farm still up to date? Are there parties there?

 

The place isn't very popular. Sometimes there are a lot of people, sometimes there is none. You should check it yourself when you're willing to farm.

 

Imo Cassy is better than it, the mana drops are hard, getting a pt is impossible and that map area and spawn is more suited for a cf farmer which not many invest in. You’re better off waiting for Sakura and summer events to farm mana.

 

There's actually a new mob called corroded floragnet at fractum sector, near the entrance on the map before Pyxtica there's a long room where they spawn a lot, it drops lots of wood and an MD for mana, so if you want to farm for wood mats and mana at the same time I think that's the best place, but so far I've only been in a few parties, since it's new not many people go there yet

 

Yes and also the mob level is quite high imo so only few peoppe farm it.

 

And it has an atk that targets random party member.

 

I went there before while trying the miniboss.
It was not very worth it. The entire time I was there (1-2 hours) I got one MD and I'm keeping it for app purposes.

 

Actually no, I got several MDs while farming with another dive impact farmer and a cf user. It needs a good pt, and you can get lots of wood as well, which is important for statters

 

I tried this solo with CF/Maximizer farmer... still didn't like it LOL

 

Yesterday I farmed wood (and mana) alone at Floragonet for like an hour lol
Mana drop seems quite nice, but I never actually farm mana so idk how it is compared to Cassy.

 

I might go and play there tomorrow. Is it weak to magic or phys?
