if i read it correctly only phase 1 has ailment restriction on boss?

No,From Phase 1 - 4 there are ailment restrictions.

you can't flinch,tumble,or stun the boss from 1 - 4 because everytime you do one of those,she heals back full max hp and cast a "freeze" on the whole party (the freeze will bypass ailment resistance stat on tanks)


The safe route is to immediately stun her when her phase 2 starts to full break and stop,or at phase 5 when her ailment restrict is off.

Btw as tank,how often i should shift my focus on aggroing empress.
Im asking this because my phone is not good enough to escape from lag,and i have to use emu (Which is not feels good like phone)
I usually stun cassy then ampr,before using 2-3 provoke on empress

 

don't worry about it too much since she pretty much ignores aggro/doesn't even always follow you 4/5 phases.

if you want to focus,spam aggro gen skills at phase 2 lots,and renew the skills at phase 3 using the cassy as the target (warcry,guardian,those skill imcreases aggro for multiple enemies).

phase 4 and 5 is where empress aggro really matters,but that can be handle just by p.defense her lasers.

Well, i guess i'll pass this event, doing so well but then there's 3rd phase, my phone lags horribly because of all the spikes layers, now THAT is hell XD.
P.S. my poor-old-has-ghost-touch-thus-i-punched-the-phone-a-couple-of-times phone

my potato keeps being slowed down and crashing the game if i play iron empress for..3-4 times without resetting,it's just an abundance of frames and constant camera switch.

 

yes, this boss is way too long and toram is not efficient at cleaning the memory buffers it used for displaying all those flashy skills.
