Guild maze dead?

I dropped into Toram a few days ago again, and was searching for hairstyle items on the board, only to see there's almost none available. Do no guilds run the maze anymore? I guess the boss fights are harder, but I figure it was still a somewhat lucrative and fun way of getting spina...

 

it's too boring to reach 800+
And you get nothing till 600+
So it's normal to be dead I think

 

Guild maze is boring. Spam support so they make a better maze. It's just a repetitive mess.

 

The boss fights are easier, you can solo all the way of guild maze with level 1 char
It's just boring to do it, there are less boring ways to get spina

 

O-oof, I guess I was the only one who kinda liked maze XD
An update to it would be nice tho now you mention it, maybe I really should spam support lol

 

Other than being dreadfully boring as stated above, problems with maze are as follows:
- It relies on a gimmick for completion.
- There is no incentive for guild progression
- The rewards are available from world treasure (the more useful ones), with just as much rng for lower effort.
- The barehand skill tree is garbage.
- Maze itself screams low effort by design of monotony.

The idea of an infinite dungeon is amazing don't get me wrong, it just seems to be buried under other focussed updates for now. I dare say the game has evolved to the point where they need a bigger team to work on it as they have to:
- Upgrade the challenge dungeon, it's very bare bones right now.
- Upgrade the basic movement system
- Update the graphics. I doubt they would remake the game just to update the graphics.
- Expand upon their orb shop, or at least modernize it.
- Upgrade the cooking system
- Balance skills for upcoming and current available skill trees

Right now they seem to be focussing heavily on skills in anticipation for lv215.

Optimal would be to have a guy assigned to each task. Given the bugs, lack of English conversion and their assortment of mmorpgs, I highly doubt that's the case.

 

Wait, are the appearance change items available outside of the maze too?

 

When guild maze was released they give global rewards for the first few guilds that can finish maze.

 

No, just useful stuff like skill tree books (except barehand skills) and xtals.

 

it's stupidly designed and it's dead
whoever stil runs maze is wasting their time.

if you want hair items you can buy tattered catalog and gems straight from the board.

the amount of time taken to run the maze > time taken to farm for the spina in buying the item straight.

 

@-@ Tattred catalogs are too easy to get now days because there is literally no orb for newbie tuyuls.. so they farm stargems mah... they do get drop gems /Hpo/Tattred catalogs ... so it's not that bad I guess... in term's of comparison that's kinda better then doing guild maze ... and gotcha lovers just like opening free chests e.e....
