I cant even kill this amalgam with full party and no tank ;-;

 

Amalgam itself not so difficult, the shadow only is the problem.

Amalgam pattern mostly is charges and release, as long as you not in the middle of combo or skill casting, you can survive without tank.

the different between LvL200 and LVL180 is when in purple mode have damage lock ( 100K max), and it’s summon viscum(?). Once it’s turn to red/green mode, just spam skill, with Light element weapon my none STR brawlers can deal about 400-500K per chariot, I think you all can do more better than me, just beware on timing everything will be fine.

 

Everytime I die hitted by the fin throw by shadow(I think is viscum) no matter what percentage my hp currently is...

 

did 4 dps and the run went smoothly. We used to have a tank and the summoned clones fcked us up really bad.

Need to kill the boss fast before it summon a bunch clones.

 

Katana looks fine as heck, really loving the ribbon thingy. Too bad the red ball thingy is obnoxiously huge.

 

its actually a sakura tree if u watch it closely but yea tht katana wud look much better if tht thing wasnt there

 

without the tree it looks almost like Ogre Rancorem from Another Eden
anyone cosplaying as Aldo?

 

So, tanks are not needed there?
Also, is there any changes to the atk pattern there, and optimal party setup maybe?

 

tank is not really needed if fast kill but if u want full break it is better with tank.
1) break need stunt coz better to lure to center to fb
2) reduce area of damage for dps ..coz after fb i lure boss to the side so it restrict boss aoe area
3) if boss summon minions , they atk tank first and not dps so it still give time for dps to kill the boss with less worry

my OP run is under 1 min but mostly about 1.5 min so i have to deal with shadows from time to time as a tank

 

Flash Blast or Tempest User can easily solve mobs problem

 

Same pattern, just more shadows. ^_^

 

Tested, i think the most dangerous clone so far for me is Viscum
Clone Visc can stun you and if amalgam is near you, mostly its going to release wave aoe point blank at your face that can kill you
