Venena Leveling

The only issues I have there is if someone leaves party but disbands the entire party like a selfish idiot, and making a party or joining one on ulti difficulty can take really long, or the party leader logging out and not returning wasting the 10 minutes it took to join a party or make one, that annoys me especially when I'm on book
I have gotten used to all the leeches, people starting on wrong difficulty, avoidable deaths, people blaming each other blah blah blah.

As for mages struggling there it's something you just have to expect, eating m.res food and getting more hp before lvling there would be smart and also we have mirage evasion now, can't expect every tank to be a pro at interrupting venena's meteors or hold agro on towers, especially if the mage isn't using sneak or negative agro equips and food. If you join a random party as mage I would always be using sneak or making sure I have high negative agro if I'm using finale.

 

Wait. There are people using finale without sneak or negative aggro? I thought that was the first thing you get after finale and maximiser.

 

I can't say for certain but when I'm leveling there most of the time it's a mage blaming tank for not holding agro on pillars and I assume it's because those mages are not using sneak or any negative agro equip because agro is fine for every one else.

 

I don’t use sneak with finale tbh, then again I was trolling tanks with my aggro anyways xdd. Asking your dps to use sneak is a poor excuse for a tank, then you would then asl ALL dps to use sneak as well. If that’s the case we should just dump the tank and add another dps tbh.

 

The problem for non mage is autoatk use up sneak charge. For mage, go be tank if you don't want to use sneak or -aggro.
Edit: Also, melee dps should be within guardian anyway and sneak is useless for bow.

 

Guardian only will be effective with builds that play strictly close range.... not to mention the fact that any sensible dps will be behind the boss and not along side it so the use of guardian doesn’t always come into play because the range is short.

And as I said if you can’t hold aggro don’t tank. Ppl hating on finale users for their aggro when dw spammers (or any spammer with maximum motion speed for that matter) with saber aura generates much more aggro over time. So that’s why I said asking one build to learn such a crappy skill is unfair when other builds potentially generate more aggro.

 

i agree with you on that. It's just what i do with my shitty mage to rely less on random tank's reliability. Playing with known friend's tank is much easier when i know how good they are.
