when I use my main character I get +2772 Exp from a Lvl 48 orc but my other characters are only getting 277 exp. what's going on?
( my main character is following the storyline quests, but I'm not sure if that's the reason )

Experience in toram is calculated according to your level difference to the killed enemy. There are multiplier for how many lvl was the difference between the enemy and your used character. I don't know the exact value, but it's better if you battle enemy within 8 or 9 level of your character.

Exp gain is affected by lvl. If your lvl is ±10 lvls from the monster you're fighting then you'll recieve a bonus in exp. If you exceed the ±10 lvls then you get a penalty and recieve less exp. The closer you are to a mobs lvl the more exp so when you both are the same lvl you get the most exp from that mob
