What are your thought about the new EX arena?

In my opinion,

- Just hit that Gold arena if you planned to farm coins
- EX Arena should only be played for fun, not for farming consider the work load and crappy rewards (8 coins per run and a chest that randomly give 4th weapons app "which no one asked ffs" and coins "which barely existed in the chest", and yes, anniv silk too "which price dropped low af")
- Tanking this one is easy, but not DPS, thanks to the SUPER SAIYAN Potum, you will die on average 1 time per run
- They are seriously putting in an arena with NO GIMMICKS, JUST DEATH ZONES, WAY TOO MANY DEATH ZONES THAT HAPPEN IN A BLINK OF AN EYE?
- Seriously who came up with this crap for their 5TH ANNIVERSARY

A mix of Neo Maton, Seele, venena, Mardula/Volgagon and Patissia :v

Sharks with no end = Neo
Meteors = Venena
Celestial ark thingies = Seele
Mana explosion = Mardula/Volgagon
Patissia = not remaining in a place for more than few sec ._.)

That guy throws shark waves, meteors, celestial ball beam or whatever that is, that deals not only fractional dmg but kills ya on impact according to ur mana..aka mana explosion (aye, meteor one)
Cant even avoid mana explosion since it literally triggers+kills on impact so ya..

And we all know, all classes try to stay 1k mp+ in just in case so instant KO~

Killed once per run?
Yep!
Once is underestimating, atleast 2-3 times ._.)
Even getting caught in a simple small combo such as kairiki >cf ....(its like maton all over again..)

The bosses are relatively easy and fast minus Last potum :v that guy takes time since he moves around alot.

For farming?
While Gold arena is good?
I preferred Ex actually ._.)

Considering a pt finishes the run in 1min - 1min 30 sec on average in ex (atleast OP pt) [mostly it was 3-4min] , that's what half the randoms usually do on gold..

That's 3-4 coins (sometimes freakin 1-2 just for heck of it without dumping or arena out)

I actually farmed em comparatively easily than gold ._.)
...(And that gold hardly had many pt since ex came xD)

It's actually nice..showed me l had coordination l never knew of ._.)..dodging at last sec, keeping eye on God knows how many things @-@)

i rather farm on gold. if 2-3min (1½min op pt) per-run is common tyme for ex (8coin), doesnt 40-50 secs (30secs for op pt) - 4 coin [180seconds/150=3(50seconds)] = give 4x3 12 more coin?
able to fast run under a minute, with less revita cost n can be done by just any1.
faster is better n i highly recommend ppl to stick wth gold unless u're masochist/like to explore your true potentials. keep stocking ur coins til summer event. tht way u wont nid to worry abt being busy in 2 plces later

 

..the eyes once blinded by the 8 coins have been opened..and seem to reconsider 8 vs 4..4 seems decent nuff..

 

All is fluffy, so not a problem at all

 

It's not too bad, I was able to kill it 1:20s-2m average in random parties using outdated gears and was getting atk rank most times.
The tank just needs to lure them by the stairs so they group up and then it's really fast to kill them all. Also don't flnch or tumble the potum and then there will be no issues. Defintely possible to fk under a minute if everyone has anniv 5 gears.

 

are you sure? last time i solo it, there's no issue after i tumble it many times. someone said, giving ailment will be an issue.

 

i also did some experiment, while tanking potum it usually deals the mana explosion thingy when i stun or tumble it. i guess flinch is okay? Theres also a bug when tanker loses the aggro and the aggro holder is the ally, potum wont move unless the tanker aggro it back

 

When it's tumbled it casts fast meteors and gets everyone killed. Well at least that's what I noticed and saw everyone else complaining about. There was a dw on our team and he was tumbling potum and we all ended up dying from those meteors xD when no one tumbles then it's pretty smooth sailing.
I haven't personally tanked it so maybe flinch is okay. Also I think if oddy is tumbled or maybe it's flinch or an ailment? I'm not exactly sure he casts a nasty line of fins that can one shot dps, well a whole party if they standing in line of it.

 

We doing guild raid on EX, so it's fun since we're already bored with gold. ^_^

it's oddy pattern, nothing to do with interupt like tumble nor ailment.

 

Spam stun super vanilla potum. Better to kill it using stun. Lmao. For that tasty mana explosion. ^_^

 

Imo, i choose farm in ex stage. The reason is the chest, it give medal. when i open 10 chest, it give me 9 medals, or if lucky 27 medals (tested with 50 chest, 5 time open 10 with 2/5 are 27 medals). Also give anniv silk, its good if you want to smith it for level bs prof or test maybe get 2s or just sell(price drop).

 

i dont remember event item bs raise player bs prof, probability of gettin coins is low n while u're at it *opening chest* thing other players who's been farming at gold alredy been gettin way more than what we can gain from chest alone.
a minute waste on chest+procs 4th anniv gears (not even 100% gettin coin along the process) is a total of 2/3 run on gold wth promising of 8/12 coins. add tht up thts n ez 2 stks coins on roughly 4-5hrs of grinding on gold. which i did(25seconds full dps best run i had)
lastly, since tht stage involve 8 players. probabilty of getting nub in pt is high even a single ded-weight is enuf to slow the run by a noticeable amount of time. pipols wth their inflateable ego suq blaming the tank all the tyme n not their own flaws. idm if they're using kairiki, gsw infinite glassy asf but i DO mind when idiots doesnt pay attention to aoe, stacking/standing near others, drawing aoe to others, forgot to dodge. etc

 

Can use the silk to craft armors and up prof, if prof is still lowish.
Tbh i found ex faster or basically the same as gold when it came to the speed of aquiring coins even when doing many 2min runs. It's also possible to get 9 coins if we rank so I spam war cry and rank everytime this way and most times I'm getting 9 coins. Per 10 boxes open I average 18* gold poms.
Also needa take into account even if we do 3-4 gold runs per one ex run each under 30 seconds then there's still at least 15 seconds of loading screens, boss intro and death and running to the portal each time so it kinda ends up the same as one ex run.
Anyway both are good, ex is also a lil more fun for me personally so I'll b sticking with it.

 

Just an update. Most tank says stun is ok, but not flinch and tumble. So, just to be safe, I'm using interrupt restricting gear on my brawler. ^_^

 

EX 2020:

It's our Dashcon ball pit. But furry themed.

 

I like ex arena. it's a lot more doable with my katana than the gold one. Tho i still have to join in as a Bow and then slowly sneak in my katana after a few rounds.

man i wish the game would be a lot more forgiving on melee classes.
