I think Im getting confused because I include the Impact before Burst in the combo in the charge
So if I have 1k CSPD, I make 3 Charges of Burst before I do my Impact>Burst>Ender Combo

 

If you look at AkaKuro, he's doing interesting thing. Imperial Ray->Impact then Impact->Burst, two Impacts before Burst with 5.5k cspd.

It is important to note however that AkaKuro has 2s equip. Nonetheless, the combo is really nice. I'll try to see if I can incorporate this into build

Perhaps he means mage as main/heavy damage dealer? Since mage's dps seems kinda lacking compares to the current dps builds.

Since mostly i see shining cross meteor breaker crossfire satellite arrow dragon tooth bla bla bla spamming and boss dead in seconds, meanwhile finale damage comes in long-periodic pulses and burst is like shaving slowly with mp charge maximizer in the middle.

 

I dont know if you ever play mage seriously and then play some other physical dps class and like wow why would i play mage in the first place like how pathetically weak mage really are. Yeah it needs lots lots of changes but then asobimo release wizard skill I love how it doesn't solve anything at all.

Do we still need elemental staves for that .5 magic crit buff from weaken?

 

To apply Weaken you need sub MD with element against boss. You can have whatever in main hand. Ele/damage to ele staff will increase damage.

Thing about mage is, the advantage is in the utility and capability. Mage has lots of Skill Points to spare unlike other classes. MP Regen isnt a big issue. It can survive even with just INT. Neither does it suffer the debuff of the 2nd row of support auras (Brave Aura, High Cycle, Quick Motion esp.)
But without being able to easily do the big numbers damage of Physical classes especially CF, Mage gets underappreciated. (Especially in an increasingly toxic ideology of Pure Damage and nothing else matters)
(Which is sad. Mage is very capable.)

 

Are you saying that I can still get the cr and cd buff from weaken without having to have ele staves just the md?

Also speaking of that video, I tried doing the same as what he she did with max motion and main sub ele but still couldn't manage to get it on time like just how lol

 

Yeah but it requires you lots of time, and luck because sometimes bosses would simply move and you left with nothing but sadness.

 

This 134CR actually sounds too good to be true, I made one myself with ele sub md and it looks like I'm still not always doing critical hits except for Element Slash itself after weaken is inflicted.

 

Turns out as you see here it's an if statement, means you need 200cr atleast to always do critical hits with the two, weaken cr buff overwrites the one from spellburst so these two don't get combined.

I wonder what would it be for the magic cd, this was written before the skill adjustment of spellburst(25% > 75%cd) so not sure if they just pulled that 50%cd from weaken and added it as passive for spellburst or its another 50%cd.
