Here, let's have a hypothetical scenario battle. I'm using Knuckles and I consecutively flinch, tumble, and stun you on cooldown. Let's say resistance is 3s, 6s, and 25s respectively. What happens?

 

i always wondered abt this, would they nerf debuff proc rates? the whole mode would go to shit if that were the case.

What happens can be plausibility evasion.

Smash is semi-fast close range. Sonic Wave is medium-slow. Bash is slow close range.

A knuckles trying to chain CC will have difficulty timing their CC consecutively as the other player will be spamming their evasion button as they are CC'd. Getting the second chain takes proper and accurate timing on the Kunckles part.

OK. let's say the Knuckles chains the CC well; and a lot of unwanted excess physical proaction is accumulated. The knuckles has semi-moderate low MP and in the meantime the other player has been simply staying alive with his 10s Revitas. You're either the Knuckles or the other player. What happens now?

Hmmm... let's make it interesting and let's say the other player is a Bow/KTN player. It has access to all bow and KTN skills as well as traps and other useful skills. This Bow/KTN player also has a LVL 6 Smash Stargem (75% to flinch, 2m range), as well as Impact at level 10 (75% to tumble).

Both players are 8m apart from each other. The knuckles player is wary toward potential incoming CC skills.

The Bow/KTN has a 1/1 charge on CF and 0 on Gyrou. What are his options?

 

looks like 1h and knuc shield will become arena king. with so much cc and utility, I doubt other class can compete against it
