How strong is the Resistance buff?

*hugs* Sorry you had rotten luck getting it. I've gotten it serval times whilst grabbing "Armour Break". Lol

(Once I learned the pattern, I've typically gotten "Armour Break" consistently within 2-3 fussions.
The kicker: not sure if I'll keep it though. Waiting for advice on a "Breaker pet", b4 I max it.. haha)

I may take your setup, for my Support Pet, if it seems "player heals = better than pet heals".
(Hopefully I can save sp via using a pet for consistent Aoe healing, as an option.. haha)

Well for example the matk buff lvl 8 gives me around +350matk (3996 -> 4326) and the resists are currently lvl 6 but if theyre 30% its worth the pain lol.
Yea, while i didnt get it lvl5, i got 2 mp gain lvl5, 3 aggro lvl 5 and a few different ones (also 2 with shield break lvl 4 and 5 and hp gain lvl 4) but sadly rng likes to toy with us.
Somehow from the 3 buffs available, resists seem more suitable than the critdmg% (this acc is 2 mages so yea, but id still go same buff on my 2hs dipies)
    ---
Dont forget that heal skill of pet is more matk dependant and with more pt members, pet gets more % cut from its atk/matk
(Yes, assobimo devs suck as always) so party heal is pretty much the worst skill you could get, unless you plan to go duo with pet and heal both of you (still not sure how it helps, unless you pump matk higher than hp)
    ---
You can go gentle for pet if you dont plan to use high mp cost skills and using a high % pattern, so it can restore the mp it uses. In other cases you still will run out of it. In this case you consider where pet will get its mp: ampr or mp heal.
Justice nature is good at dodging AoEs AND has x2 ampr.
Next is speed, cuz you know, the more speed, the faster you recover mp, so who has the highest speed? Knuckles and MD.
    So there's your choice.
(You dont really have to care about weapons cuz we assume your pet has magic auto and it will not be a dps, so dmg will be shet either way, but more speed is always good).

Where's the best spot to farm pet lvl 170ish?
I spam cerberus ulti until my pet become lvl 164. I know cerberus lvl is kinda low but it works.
I tried on venena nm but my pet always dying on the battle.
    Should i try alto?

It's ridiculous the optimal way to level is. Cerb. from 113 to 164. Although, at those higher levels SDM might be a little faster.

I'm looking at Coryn at options at 164+. Venna Ult., is most obvious, but it can be difficult to not let your pet die. Esp. if the tank summons Venena's explosions (unless your pet's nature avoid them).

Imitator, Imitacia, and York have lower HP pools, although all these bosses have painful AoEs. (I don't remember Imitacia though).

Crystal Titan is weak to freeze, although I don't know how fast he can be killed or anything as I have no experience with that boss. If he summons those spikes naturally then unless your pets nature is immune, perhaps not. Bosses aside from Venena don't seem idea to me at a glance; also factoring how difficult it can be to form a group for them.

Amoeba, Carb, Solopy, and SDM seem viable. Amoeba and Solopy can pose issues if you can't kill them fast enough and/or you lack flinch. Carb., you need flinch or some CC.

Goldenia is good, I think. If you're a mage, and accompany a mage merc, alongside a proration merc, you can kill it fast. Goldenia's AoE's are fractional.

Wandering Wheel is known to have fast respawn and it can be killed instantly with slow/stop/freeze.

Alto. is neutral element, so you lose a good amount of damage from DTE equip.

Hmmm, with all consider, I think Venena is best. As a tank, Place placing your pet at the far rails at the beginning of the battle.

Mini bosses are ok too, I think. SDM, WW, and Goldenia are my top 3. SDM has bad respawn, so not ideal without a group. WW, I think is best, although if your pet has no ranged attacks/buffs at all, there might be some issues with your pet getting an attack in to grab the exp, as WW dashes upon aggro so your pet has to chase it while WW could be dead age ago.

Venena- if you're DPS, during second phase, if explosions erupt, immediately attacking Venena (instead of towers) might save them.

Venena Ult. takes around 4 mins? Mini bosses gives roughly 1/9th of Venena's exp. So you can do the math to see if they're favorable.

Does pet gain exp if they die in a battle ?

Pet gets exp ONLY if they were alive and had hit the boss / use buff skill before the boss fight ends.

oh, if you guys want fast pet skill leveling (melee timid/gentle), I do it in Ivy Map, luring Thug Golem into Ivy Area and spamming AoE skills (to fast kill mobs around). It is the best spot for leveling but I don't know if support pet buffs are required.
Explanation is Melee Timid/Gentle only needs to be in "Battle Mode" to leech all the exp from dying mobs, regardless of targeting them one by one (idk about other pets though).
