Question about short range dmg

    canon strike is a range skill.but if i use it from less than 3 meters, will short range dmg boost take effect?
    also if i use it from close range will long range passive from shot skill also activate?

    Long Range Mastery (skill): applies to all non-placed attacks with an activation range of 8m, regardless of where you use them

    Long Range Damage (gear): applies to all non-placed attacks activated at 8m or more

    Short Range Damage (gear): applies to all non-placed attacks activated at 7m or less.
