how does long range passive from shot skill works??

on the skill description said :
"You become good at attacking from distance. Damage dealt from 8 meters or more away increase."
i think it will increase the skill damage if i cast dragon tooth (halberd skill level 4) at 10m away from target. but, since my additional equip has
wandering wheel crysta :
Attack speed +75%
Atk +5%
Long range damage -14%
with long range passive lvl 10 (+10%), the result may ended with 96% which i lose 4% damage if i cast the skill at 8m or more from target. at the end, i didn't take the passive skill.
then, i saw someone said that "long range passive increase skill damage, IF that skill can be used at 8m or more away from target".
so, i wanna ask. for example, dragon tooth max cast range is 12m while gatling knife max cast range is 8m. so, if i used them at 3m from target, will that passive skill increase the skill damage?

Yes as long as the said skill have cast range 8 meter or more LRP will active.

we have been tricked, backstabbed, hoodwinked, lead astray, flat out deceived and quite possibly schmeckledorfed!

 

LRD/SRD don't stack addivetely with long range skill effect. Long range skill is a multiplier by its own. So -14% LRD and 10% from long range skill would give you 94.6% damage instead 96%.

 

Does this mean storm will benefit from long range skill? OwO

 

As I know, Storm is placed skill, so srd / lrd has no effect
