Well with multibillionaire gaming conglomerates the makers of Zelda and genshin impact probably work together and yeah sure genshin is almost a copy and paste of Zelda as many are refuting here like it's a valid point but as I said zelda is probably intertwined with the people who made genshin and the corporation behind Zelda are making money off of royalties from genshin which so called copied their game,
so that's why we see no lawsuits of plagiarism being orchestrated and publicized by either company but a bunch of people on youtube who have no involvement in the development or legal side of either game making click baiting videos and trying to bring the game down because its easy views or they can't accept the game they love is just a corporate tool which is similar to another game and was sold off,
But being oblivious to how gaming is managed on a corporate scale much like the media and news is handled for example.

Without reading anything you've written. No, it's plagiarism. It's become a normative practice to copy the leading game in a particular category.

I understand; I suppose you are content with being narrow-minded. So be it; I will no longer waste my time.
There are many annoyances BotW (such as weapon durability and inability to climb in the rain—these are both intentional, however) had that Genshin Impact does not share, so you could say that.

surprisingly, plagiarism does not only include direct stealing but also recreating an exact copy.

although it only applies to original ideas.
that would be newly designed monsters, that didn't exist before, and custom names.
you cannot blame them for plagiarism because of trees and mountains.
character movement, such as walking, could not be plagiarised as well.

now, if they did recreate an exact copy of BotW's concepts and game elements, it could be plagiarised, but only if BotW created those as it's own original ideas.

Not quite. Even if BotW had invented those concepts, it still wouldn't be considered plagiarism (and if it did, by that logic, BotW and essentially every other game ever released would have also committed plagiarism). Plagiarism is an act of fraud; if miHoYo had not admitted they were inspired by BotW and declared they invented those concepts, that would be considered plagiarism (and clearly they didn't do that and even if they did, it wouldn't matter anyway). It's a very common practice in the gaming industry to reuse ideas--no one owns them; they own the brand, not the idea (ideas aren't protected under copyright laws).
