Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't know this but what in the world does "get lucky" in stoodie's experiment do for you ?

Golden Potum appears and drops a platinum chest if you defeat it.

There's a golden potum with a red cape that isn't hard to beat, then the one you mentioned right? Takes awhile to beat only gets 1dmg/per hit and hits hard? If so I've definitely seen those without "get lucky". I'm guessing the odds are just raised?

yup, that's the one. with 'get lucky' you'll encounter more of them.

Throwing Knife and Hidden Arm partially deal special damage, with this you can defeat them much faster. (Sacrifice probably too, didn't try that one)

Get lucky doesn't do much tbh. Those golden potums, the harder ones to kill drop golden chests, never seen one drop a plati chest.
You better off using two gems on seperate runs because sometimes you can use get lucky and none of those potums appear meanwhile you use no get lucky and a golden potum appears.
Also it's better to use no "get lucky" because every run guarantees 3 platinum chests if everything is completed which is much better if we compare it to a run that uses two gems on the actual run and the get lucky gem.
If we compare two runs using two gems and no get lucky buff we can get 6 plats and 2-10 gold's,
With one run using gem and get lucky gem which equates to two gems used it's 3 plats and 1-5 gold's most times depending on luck.
Although I will say get lucky you will most times get more gold chests but statistically speaking gold chests drop dust more than actual regislets so it's really not worth it. Using two gems on two seperate runs is better in conclusion, and if you get an extra plati chest in the run (white chest) that has nothing to do with get lucky.

Side note if you wana one shot those golden potums just use throwing knife, don't need anything else.

Funny enough thats exactly how I've been going about it ive been prioritizing the 3 plats over using "get lucky" after maybe my 3rd or 4th run. Soooo much better, plus if its clutch it'll for sure hinder me from getting the 3 plats. In terms of throwing knife , where is that skill located? Do i need anything else to make sure it works well and should i pump it to lvl 10? Ive been playing this game over 2 months coming up on 3 and i still feel like a noob so much of the time . Good tidbit about the raised odds for gem dust w/ get lucky though, thats worth remembering . Also I've only ever run stoodie solo ( i do most everything solo) is there any drawbacks to doing it with a party? Maybe im mistaken, but the few times ive done boss runs in a party it hasn't felt like my drops or xp were lessened at all. Is that how it is or not so much? I never run out of things to inquire about on here

Just use get lucky if you're feeling desperate for those elusive gems. I use arrow rain and sunrise arrow to kill those gold potum. ^_^

The basis on "Get Lucky's" effect is that morr Potums will spawn. Is there proof? I doubt it. This topic was made around the time Stoodie was released. There's hardly much people that are proactive with resarch/data to begin with.

In done enough Stoodir to max all my Regi's and unlock enough upgrade slots where as the next available costs 500k dust. My Potum enounters are... average. Meaning, sometimes I see a bunch, sometimes I see a few, sometimes not much if at all. It's average enough where as seeing 4+ Potums in a map is not a suprise or big deal, or rare.

So, unless I see 4+ Potums appears constantly and consistenty with the "Get Lucky" buff, I'll have my doubts.

The buff may increase the chance of higher level Potums. I also theorize the buff may just flat out increase the rate or rate% of higher quality drops (similar to having a Rare Drop +2 Guild Buff as an example). Regi drops are incredibily rare. The last 2 in particular feel like Xtal rates.

In general I mean. Under drop info the Gold/Plat boxes. The last numerous few are rare drops.

I think I've done 70Stoodie 100 times now or so. Still no Shared Destiny.
