    Welp major rip to enchant burst & sword.. Though why did they give enchanted burst to 2h then, especially considering no bonuses and low multiplier...

    ths has high multiplier in esword (idk where did you get info ths has weaker than all other esword class)
    ths mult = 11
    ohs/knux = 9+sub md atk (roughtly around 11.38x using high end md S+)
    bwg = base mult seems like penalty 1/8 of ohs/knux + sub md (so probably like 10.25 mult high end sub md)

    the 2 sub md user requires S+ to just spar THS multi (meanwhile THS has very high WATK diff which is still make strongest enchant sword user) and ths has +100 crit rate esword so ez bypass crit res boss

    Sorry, I know enchanted sword is definitely good on 2h. I was mostly saying rip to the person saying Enchanted Sword & Burst was dissapointing for knuckles & bowgun. Though I am questioning why they let 2h use Enchanted Burst. It can't gain stacks, & has no bonuses or additional attacks.

    Correction: bwg DOES NOT have a 1/8 damage penalty. It actually has 8 hit, and total multiplier is divided into 8 hit. But asuckassmo is being asuckassmo, the last hit is bugged and will not appear if the target dies from the skill or you move before the skill animation ends. That's why it appeared to have a 1/8 damage penalty.

    So they DO have mechanics to cancel skill action on movement.

    What the hell is Asobimo doing leaving bad game mechanics still existing?

    just a gimmick.
    the advantage of Ether Flare and Element Slash over regular magic is that they act like physical skills without cast time. THS can't use those, so enchant burst is their "warrior magic".
    that's all. no balance, just toram logic.

    the only way actual use atm eburst of ths is replacement for impact if you want avoid tumble unavailable gears with balance prorate combo

    Not a good replacement, since eburst animation is very slow. It's like using m.javelin as opener, or worse.
    Unless astupidmo do a few more adjustment, this is just "yet another meme adjustment".

    cmiw but from what i'm getting from reading everyone else's testing, enchanted burst gives the additional damage like imperial ray for ohs as well. does that make using imperial ray for the additional hit when using magic skill tree skills basically useless since there's eburst?

    Those level 5 class skills must be quite godly if asobimo finds that the current skills are balanced as is.

    Hang on, shouldn't Knux be good at Enchant Sword? They were used for storm after all. Annihilator + Conversion + Int should allow it to deal damage on par with ohs

    I'd almost regretted deleting Knuckles but remembered that slightly improved trash is still trash. Even if main Knuckles could deal double the damage it does now, it would remain the second weakest class (Magic Warrior 1st). This is a sign that Tier 5 skills will bury Knuckles further into the ground - Asobimo believes that Knuckles doesn't need more buffs

    No, sadly not. Knux already has lower atk than ohs, even with the help of Annihilator, it can only barely reach ohs level of atk. And knux only gains atk from agi and a tiny amount from dex, while ohs gains atk from both str and dex, and they can go str>dex aka higher cdmg than knux agi>whatever stat the knux chose without losing atk. Not to mention that with Annihilator, you'll only have 80% stab at max without any dex or stab gears, while ohs has 100% stability without doing anything. And more unstable damage means lower average damage.
    Going int and using Annihilator can allow knux to have as much matk as staff int, but choosing that stat allocation, you'll either have low atk or low cdmg. And like I said, with "optimal" build, knux can have as much base damage for Enchanted Burst as ohs even though knux eburst only uses half matk. But knux eburst doesn't give matk up buff like ohs, thus still make it weaker than ohs eburst. And going agi>str will obviously make it weaker than ohs eburst due to the lower matk.

    TL,DR: knux can just barely reach ohs' damage level, but only as either esword or eburst, not both.

    I see. Why can Knux MD use storm better than ohs MD but is worse at Enchanted Sword?

    Edit: Oh, conversion only converts 50% in Knuckles compared to OHS

    Magic warrior skills for other weapons is more of a meme than anything else.
    Clearly there was no reason to give such weak forms to other weapons for magic warrior.

    It's just a dumb distraction to keep people busy with useless nonsense before the real stuff comes out. That is lvl 5 skills.
    And guess what it's already September.
    Wait will lvl 5 actually be added on September? Lol

    I don't think enchant sword and enchant burst test is done properly with knuckle.
    Enchant sword is a physical dmg skill, so obviously requires more atk power, like str and agi build.
    But enchant burst would do high dmg with int and agi build, because it requires both matk and atk.
    The tests I saw on youtube are not proper tests.

    Speaking of proper tests, made an auto spell brawler blast mage. It works. It's not CDMG built but someone can easily modify the build for it for faster kill speed.

    With no CDMG (only AGI, VIT and DEX stats used), NPC equipment (no slot weapon, 1 slot everything else), resonance buff, 3 stack god hand and annihilator buff was able to deal 600k+ dmg (consistent throughout the fight) to alto per goliath strike.

    To keep proration up you need resonance consistently up and to drop a normal attack in between.

    Base stats checked out at approx 2k ATK, 1.2k MATK, 3.7k ASPD.

    Yeah, real thrash but given the speed for that level of build. Whew.

    Some notes though:
    - You NEED VIT/Significant HP on this Knux build because you will get hit.
    - You actually want ailment resistance on your build to retain God hand when you get hit with certain ailment attacks.
    - You should make your combos such that you only need to cast magic once in the entire battle.
    - If you need to swap auto spell magic, setup a specific combo or just use the magic as is.
    - Beneficial proration builds really fast when solo. It's to the point where you can probably disregard some combo building rules.
    - Chakra is still useless. Even more so because you need to get hit now.
    - You can sustain MP without decoy shot tanks to high proration by cycling shell break and resonance. Rarely would you ever need to use MP Charge + Maximizer.
    - Toss in breathworks and/or vampire combo tag and your HP is high enough most of the time to maintain resonance spam.
    - You can tank and do damage (not as well as their dedicated comparts however)

    Regarding enchant sword and e.burst, for knux those skills may as well be pure gimmick. They are thrash. Too slow to use and/or too little instances where they are preferably used.

    May have missed some stuff but the God hand buff is a bigger buff than I initially thought.

    EDIT: Crappily fought sapphire roga (normal) up in their face and won. Tried with Reliza, got smacked because no Crit Rate to land attacks. Going to build some CRT and see how this thing goes.
