[Guide for Newbies]

Just some basic stuff l have been seeing newbies come and ask around alot lately..

​

CLASS :​

• You might love 2h, halberd, katana n alot more..but for your main? I suggest you take mage (easiest class to lvl and farm with)

LOST?​

• Without further ado, complete the mq..
THAT should be your MAIN OBJECTIVE, As even game says ~
Trust me, it’ll solve 80% of you problems..
Completing mq will take you to 144+ lvl

SKILLS?​

• Since l suggested the mage route? I’ll suggest those skills~
These skills are for players(mages) under 150, after? I mentioned the necessary ones

Note :
Skills not mentioned are ones that need to remain at lvl 5.

STATS
Int 255
Vit 30-50(or all)[optional]
Suggested to take since you’ll be dying alot..
Comes with being a mage :b
Dex (rest)[optional]

MAGIC SKILL TREE
>Impact Lv7
(halves next skill cost)
>Storm Lv10
(good for farming, good dps before finale
[ 4th tier skill, attained at 150])
>MP Charge Lv10
>Magic Mastery Lv10
After 150:
> Finale lvl 10

No combos :v
Be creative!​

BAG & ITEMS :​

• Usually most (initial) items arent of much worth, so discard em (you’ll eventually know what)
• The rare items, like your equipment, revitas, armours, additionals, xtals? LOCK EM!
There is nothing more you regret than accidentally discarding something of worth..trust me..
• Less bag space?
Dun buy spaces with orbs in bag..
use em at storage..1 orb = 5 spaces..way better..​

EQUIPS ?​

• Remember that loli princess of sadists you fought? Venena? Farm her..!
For a mage? Staff is what you need~
Her drops are quite decent until you can manage to earn your own spina and buy something good!

For guides sake thou..​

Weapon: Lil empress staff
Sub : Any shield (Pdef will save your life..)
Arm : Lil empress garb (until you can farm Heaven’s feather garb from Seele > better)
Add : Tapir’s hood (3k hp)
(Since you’ll be lacking hp and cheap on cb)
Special : Snowland Talisman (500 mp)​

Or anything else you deem better by then

(If you wanna use xtals, go with HP or mp ones..ya know..blue ones ; since you cant afford the better ones yet)

NOTE !​

Farming/ leveling at Venena?
Remember to keep her lil empress cloth, horn and crystal..why?
You can sell them for decent price :3
• You can lvl at her from 150>199..​

NOTE V.0.2 ! DO NOT IGNORE!
Before you go selling stuff?​

A common newbie mistake is selling good/decent/even rare items for cheap, why?
• No idea about market prices
• Sell stuff for low spina then worth, just to earn spina fast (plz dun)
• Can be scammed by those ‘kind’ players who’ll buy stuff at waaaaay lower cost..
• Sell em to Sololo, Adala, etc..plz dun..​

How to avoid it?​

• Learn how cb works, look around, search for you items worth, ONLY then sell it..
• Try and not be greedy for spina.. you came to enjoy? Enjoy~
(Spina will eventually come when you understand game)
• Those chats in town? Arent only for entertainment~​

You can read em to extract info on what sells currently~

ALONE? NEED HELP?​

Try and search for a guild, usually they are welcoming and helpful (in game or in forum)
You can ask around your guildmates to help you lvl or farm~
And use their mercs for lvling :3​

WEAPONS & SKILLS DONE! SPINA?
You got many ways :​

• Farm Birdwings in ruined temple, and sell them, Fast and easy~
• Minotaur and his mino skins~
Either you can farm and sell skin stk individually, or collect 3 stks, convert em(via quest) into anti-deg, and sell for thrice the price, 3x price = longer time, 1 stk? Slow earning, but eventually 1 stk or 3, time and earning are about same.
• Stick to Venena and her mats, fluctuating, but easy nuff (unless it is horn, thats rare)
• Farm mats such as wood, cloth, medicine, metal, beast, and sell those in stks of 4.
• Why not mana? Cuz most mana items are untradable, and its mostly event limited, and its hard mat so..forget it as newbie -w-; )
• You go in towns, no? See that spammed chat? Look at it, look at those ‘mats’ that players sell, look around cb, and see what is in demand, farm those mats, and sell them.​

Conclusion?
Got nothing from guide that will make you filthy rich in few hours?

To answer that~
​

• Like rl? Stuff aint easy in game, you need to put in effort to gain something..

• Try and not beg/scam in game..no one likes that~
Isnt it better to earn in an honest way and feel that accomplisment youself?

• No one will serve ya success, spina, OP weapons on silver platter..you need to work hard (and farm) for them yourself, like everyone~
You dun wanna? Dun play x3

• A harsh truth?
No one will share their method of income,
So useless to go asking around, why?
> Their method owo) need l say more?
> Because some ..special individuals come and wreck the market :3 Just because they are in hurry to earn, you must have heard no?

‘Patience is virtue’

..it was said for a reason..​

This guide’s purpose was :
​

1) Get you 0-140s
2) Tell you ways to earn your ‘necessary spina’, aka for skills, or initial weapon you might want (100k to possible 2m if you are patient nuff until you find your own [better] method)
3) Prevent you from doing foolish mistakes, that; mostly every newbie does....yes, almost every..
4) To make Newbies stop asking around:
• ‘Tell me what to do!!’ (Mentioned above now :b)
• ‘Give me rapid spina ways!’ [As newbie?There are none owo) BADUM TSSSS!]
• ‘How do l do this?? Low lvl, help’ (MQ is here for a reason dude..)

Dont worry about spina much, atleast until you REALLY need it ..
Recent event drops are good too *^*)
Dont be greedy!
If your item doesnt sell? Take it off, and sell something else or wait, just DONT LOWER PRICES TOO MUCH!
Thats wrecking the market for EVERYONE!

Good info. But, p.def only need lvl 1. Getting it 10 will only increase the aggro without changing anything else much.

But l suggested lvl 10 based on 2 things:
• it blocks n heal :b
• if one chose to take vit stat, their hp will be around 10k, so it will heal around 2k hp (reduction in eb usage n etc)

But yes :l that additional aggro is certainly a problem (unless the tank is quite good n doesnt lose aggro)
-w-; )

Thou it can be solved if the player decides to take the '-100% aggro' route via food buff n equip or two ^^)b

 

At 10k hp, heal is 1k only. In my experience, p.def is only used as last resort. Getting it to lvl 10 for heal is not worth it.

I have a question?
I dont know what should I be looking for when I buy a staff or MD
An what would you suggest going for a staff
or should I go for MD?
Im mostly gonna use it for farming

 

Normally mages use :

Int+ (20-22), Int% (10%-11%), matk(10%-11%), dex% or cspd% (depending on need)
[Bold ones are must]
[Underlined ones are ones you can opt to get since pot is left in wpn/arm]

Note :
The weapon atk that is further from 'base atk' is better (gives more atk/matk when refined)
E.g:
A WPN has base atk 300.
•Wpn A has atk 303.
•Wpn B has atk 310.
•Wpn C has atk 290 (Dont even consider these types)

Wpn B will certainly be better than 'A' .
Wpn C is a failed crafted wpn, stay away from such wpns (more harm than good).
(In case of player made wpns, the further atk is from base, the higher the price)

Staff :
Has more power, overall gives more matk rise, less range, preferable for boss, mini boss etc

MD :
Less power, gives less matk rise compared to staff, wide range, preferable for farming mobs.

In short, for farming, opt for MD, (if not enough budget, use npc ones that provide elemental advantage)
Oh n refine atleast +E to + B for decent damage.
