Why they hate mages?

    Every class got good skills except mages that they wanna nerf em to oblivion.

    Not completely, Crash is gonna be good for its Dizzy & Armor Break for potential fastkills.

    Also you get a buff but I use charge+ maximizer and no buff in magic attack.

    What about the fact that INT has element advantage?

    Stack that with STR and you have CD + Element stacking.

    yeah, crash is not good for dps because of low damage, very slow animation and long cast time. its even better to use burst spam because you can insta cast it in certain condition. magic canon is another dogshit too. cant even compare wiith hb and ktn where they can one tap and deal 8m damage while magic canon struggles to come up with the half of that (even if you reach the maximum percentage of 200). And yet, what is interesting they even put a counter mana explosion thinking magic canon will be too powerful. you can counter mana explosion with vaccine but it will come up again soon. the counter condition they put with mages is really insane especially wiith the chrono shift.

    Okay you forgot that to crit u need insane crit and/or weaken status ailment?

    Idk why they have to put such sh1t conditions.Im not doing 5m damage like CFs.
    The max i did with 4,4k magic attack was like 1,4m smited.
    The most curious is that if finale use 8 mp you dont get 80%.Thats what fails for me.Arrows give you more charge than mp used.

    But you will sacrifice so much such as cspd just to have a multi, for cd.

    And as he said you will be needing a ton of crit, which is you will sacrifice another stats just to have atleast 200 crit for constant crit with weaken. But you will be useless if the enemy is nuetral. Another cruel condition and yet cant be compared with other classes

    And Please correct me since i dont understand fully about the changes in agi. But if agi have the same effect as str in terms of cd, wouldnt it be better to int<agi since agi has cspd?

    Mage tier 5 skills looks so op ,I don't think devs actually hate mages ,they just need good eqips for better damages .. yeah just spend about 500m Spina and get around 4m to 8m damages each skill easily XD

    Its only on knuckle mains that agi contribute as cd as same as str

    I do think so...imagine if physical classes had same prerequisites for crit as mages

    Switch to MD Dps, Spam finale cronos shift > magic canoon when charged: Profit.

    If you survive to it cuz it cost 30k hp using it again.

    What we need already is a skill on magic branch that allow to change element of the weapon according to enemy weakness.

    no? As long as you have enough MP it may not use HP as cost at all, or use a minuscule amount, I have full 2 mp bars so you might want to max it out for cronos
    only times the HP Cost compensation scared me was when I Reeeaally didn't have enough MP to cast anything and my health got E A T E N by the skill lol

    It's too early to drive conclusions. I feel like the new tier 5 magic skill needs a certain kind of build and play style to be super op. I saw someone dealing op damage with magic cannon on quasar ultimate yesterday, it seems like the new tier 5 magic skills needs element advantage to use it's full potential.

    Asobimo: Mages need to always be super ultra handholdy and dependant on all other classes for everything even for the most trivial of all things, anyone that wants to be capable of not being handholdy should steer clear of playing mage class and play as Non-Mage classes instead, because if we were to ever make Mage class become non-handholdy they would be far too strong, so nonononono!!! Mage should always be handholdy and dependant on all other classes for everything and that includes even the most trivial and small things and activities, just like how babies are super ultra dependant on their parents for everything, that level of handholdiness is mandatory for Mages!!!!! no exceptions!!!!! ~Asobimo 2022 tier 5 skills post release

    I got magic cannon info:
    Const is 700 + charge
    Mult is 0.03 * skill level * charge, stops at every 20% and restart for the next hit until the 5th hit is "max" (aka 100%); afterward "restart" from the 1st hit (but this time as mult increase)
    Simply speaking, with mcannon lv10, u get 5 hits with 6 mult each at 100%, increasing to 12 mult each at 200%
    Just imagine that it gains power similar to how u slowly fill up 5 glasses of water once each, u fill up the first cup to half, then move to the 2nd and do the same, then 3rd, 4th, 5th. After all 5 are half-filled, you come back to the 1st cup and fill it to full this time, and do the same with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th cup.

    After reaching 100%, every second has a chance to inflict Mana Explosion on you with 9 sec duration. The skill will stop charging if you have Mana Explosion, but will continue again if you remove the debuff (although it can still inflict it again). Once you reached the maximum 200%, it will stop charging but also can no longer Mana Explosion you.

    Weapon bonus:
    - Staff: Multiplier per hit + base INT / 100
    - MD: const gain from charges is tripled (aka const per hit becomes 700 + 3 * charge), and width of hit range +1m

    Well, i'd say md bonus is kinda underwhelming compared to staff

    Edit: so turns out i was wrong about several parts, I've updated all of them now

    A solution, they can just cut the aspd and cspd required for instant motion and casting down to 3000 because even just reaching 3000 cspd already requires sacrificing alot of power so a requirement of 10,000 cspd is just ridiculous and absurd and not to mention completely unnecessary ((they probably didn't even think it through before they came up with the absurd arbitrary value of 10,000 as a requirement, well they usually never think things through carefully anyways when it comes to balancing and designing, 3000 as a requirement would have been infinitely more reasonable given the already significant sacrifice of power that comes with just reaching that value alone)), and they could just replace highspeed cycle and quick motion with something else altogether like iruna style mp healing that works just like hp heal and royal heal but for mp instead, and a buff that acts like a multi ailment curer with continuous curing of ailments that has its duration based on given time only and not how many times the user is hit
