☆aviE☆very cunning scammer

This scammer is very different from the rest. He is extremely patient (took him 3 months to scam my bowgun) and good at faking.

We first met 3 months ago. He wanted to buy my bg (abg@73+B a7ceee ganglef) but said that he don't want the xtal because he already have it. He said he will provide free extraction for me. But when I asked him for insurance, he kept quiet. I suspect he is trying to scam me so I politely rejected.

Throughout these 3 monthes, he pmmed and mailed me several times for it, but kept on insisting that he didn't need the xtal so he will buy only the bg and extract the xtal for free. Although I made my stance clear that he can either pay me insurrence if he wants to extract the xtal, or just buy the xtal along with the bg, he kept on refusing and repeat "no! You don't understand!", therefore i turned down he request multiple times. I was a fool back then because I was gradually convinced by him that he really needs the bg.

He finally succeeded this thursday...He kept on begging me to sell it for about 1hr. He also intentionally kept on changing his characters to show me that he have many high lv characters, proving that he is a very old player. Finally I give in to him and choose to trust him. But once he took my bg, he thanked me and told me his battery was dead. Anxiously I mailed him to meet up. He agreed to meet up at first(probably out of guilt), but after his initial reply, he ignored all my pms and mails. This morning, I saw my bg on board for 5m lol...

This incident has reflected to me that scammers can be very persistent and high level old players. Hence in this lawless game, we really have to be extra careful and should always demand for insurance if we are buying any services.

Sadly I don't have chat evidence as by the time I realised things went wrong, pms were already pushed up by the shouts at sofya. So the only evidence I have is the 1 mail that he replied me.

 

Its my second time already I thought I became more carefulol

 

He made 2 offenses in my view.
1. He scammed you.
2. Dealeng *wtf~

xD That's what also I thought. I haven't been scammed with my item.
What I experience is just he gave me the less amount that we agreed and I clicked the "Accept" button.
But that was just like only 50k..lol

 

Why didnt you just offer he give you his xtal and pay the difference? He couldve done his own extract then.. Either way bogus on his part.

 

I suggested it to him. He told me he doesn't understand what I was trying to say. I gave up after a few tries haha

 

If someone waits 3 months just to ask one item then that's enough evidence that he has a scamming intention. You should have just ignored it. If he said he didn't want your ganglef and offers to extract it then you should know not to trust the player. No one is just going to give away one extraction in such a deal.
You should have just backed off from the offer and blocked him.

be careful next time them. I'm reading all the scam threads so that I wont experienced being scammed by someone.

 

If someone is that persistent on having one of your equipments, they're obviously trying to scam you =x I've had people be that persistent before. I block them and be done with it.

I'm not going to beat it into your head it was obviously a scam and things you should have watched out for because it's clear now you already know.

 

Hmm... I think just trusting Forumers who are close to you an people u know irl is the safest thing to do... never trust anyone in game~ In my case, I don't scam or gets scammed... I just give em if they want it unless it's very valuable to me
I'm thinking this way...'oh these poor child..they don't know how to play and socialize in this game properly..This is farewell gift~ Let's never meet again~' and I deletes them...Unless they are newbie or guildies

And who's keep pressing disagree to people?? I don't think it was disagreeable....They were giving advice tho

 

I suggest u report him to asobimo it seems he also scam other player on this forum.
