Today also got demo on New Guard and Evade skill, and additional skill for main weapon skill.

 

Guard seems awful imo. It behaves like barrier. When he took more than 1 damage, the guard durability went down b 2 from 100.

I wonder how much damage block and durability points consumption it can withstand when hit by a high attack.

 

so we have vehicles now?
and chocobo?

 

Bet it cost orbs.

 

I really wanna know what was discussed about the new main wep skills...

 

Dagger evasion attack just got buffed to hell.

Dagger offhand got buffed significantly.

That new bowgun/ bow blast skill is hilarious as hell but seems to always crit.

The new magic skill would be amazing for proration in that it allows for some extra magic damage but something tells me that its the skill ailment that packs the bigger punch here.

DW got a buff, manual flash blast AoE trigger.

Manual evasion and guard seem a little bugged for now though. Guard now seems to rely on the facing direction. When evasion is released, no one gonna take backstep as much anymore.

The katana and halberd skills stink, least from what I can see.

Well...

This is certainly gonna throw a monkey wrench in all my current builds... Definitely trying a GSW knux/dagger DPS after this update though (Finally).

My wizard gunner build is gonna benefit from that additional magic buff, not so much from the new bow skill, seems weaker than snipe though it probably carries an ailment.

DW gonna be amazing physical AoE DPS with their 0 MP constant AoE.

I might get a halberd after looking at that block lol. But if flash blash activates with manual evasion, will they stop activating it on shadowstep?

Honestly that guard option would be useless for many dps since many spam gsw I doubt manual guard can block that has dmg you’re about to collect xd. They just look fancy but I like the halb guard animation it’s badass even if it sucks I would use it just for style

I think the amount reduced on guard is based on guard power. The evasion button has a cool down animation, and the number it displayed on the button is like the number of charges it has; Press once, lose one charge. From what was showcased, the cool down is looooooooong.

 

flash blast + manual evasion = DS farmer.

guard still a big succ.

 

knux got a faster charging for evasion but was only limited to 2, while others got a lot of charges for a slower charging

 

u do know shadow step exists right?

 

That costs MP. New cool edgy evade doesnt

 

Guard Point using Porcupine Quill Shield + other guard + stuff = Free DPS by turtling
