Hello there, It's me メScye and today I will reveal my build, a build that didn't disappoint me throughout my entire gametime. This is my hard work, my raw knowledge, the reflection of me, this is me, this is Gemini.

Everybody knows that dual sword class has this 3 obvious cons which is it's loooong auto attack animation, poor visible scaling from stats to raw ATK and the lack of burst compared to other classes but there's a few pros that makes this class very interesting, exciting and can be one of the best if not the best class in toram in the near future, It's the ability to double attack MP recovery A.K.A. AMPR, a proration freak class, the ability to be very mobile and deal above average amount of damage at the same time and its ability to be a water in every team party team composition. In short, Dual wield is a balance of pseudo tanking, DPS and a damage booster machine support via proration.

Many player tried, some have failed, few succeed, the others are still figuring things out, the others already surrendered and most of the player didn't try the dual sword class at all, not because they don't like the class, but because they're scared. Scared of being weak, scared of being unfriended because of how bad they are, scared because they already know that they failed to make things work. They don't hate dual sword, they're just .. Scared. They don't wanna embrace the fear because they're always scared to start as a weakest link.

I know some people who succeed, and I respect them. I don't respect some of them tho, maybe because the arrogance already consumes their mind to the point where the effect manifests in a negative way. But regardless of what they lack or what they mastered, they're already considered a successful dual wielder in a way.

Never do that, the best warrior will never claim that they're the best. Stay humble and strong at the same time. Higher minds are watching and they know. They know the truth between obvious lies and vivid reality.
This will be the last. Who knows, I might change my other sharp sword into a wooden sheath someday. Goodbye.

*This is the last time that I will post a guide about dual sword. This thread will be the last and I will update this thread every level cap just to add some default gemini skillset.*

Spinning slash > Shadowstep save > Trigger slash swift A. K. A. The gemini combo 100% 2x auto attack cancellation preview.

(Gemini core combo is spammable, if you spam this without auto attacking even once, the proration remain stagnant. If you cancel once, the proration for will rise +1, if you cancel twice, the proration will rise +2, if you auto attack thrice, the proration will rise +3. Auto attacking thrice after using this combo is possible.)

Use this core combo as your training ground. This combo can be combined by any starter skill such as astute/twin/phantom/charge/parry/hardhit etc. In short, any skill.

    How to do this?
    • Dual wield's normal auto attack is not an ordinary auto attack but instead a series of attacks in one full animation dealing main hand and subhand's damage output divides off of your current total basic damage output, a 4 damage output overall. (Main, Sub, Main, Sub). Use the combo and be mindful about the series of auto that your character's about to use, as soon as trigger slash swift hits, look at your character and you will see that it will do its normal auto attack series, from here, you will try to orb walk away from the monster as soon as the 2nd main hand is about to land. (main, sub, "MAIN" > orb walk away)
    • After successfully cancel your first auto attack using this method, you will try to use another auto attack series and this time, you will orb walk away from the first main hand or the first subhand and then orb walk immediately after either of both lands. ("MAIN, SUB" > orb walk away)
    • After successfully cancel your second auto attack using this method, you will now given an option to either use another skill immediately or use another auto attack series. This time, another auto attack series cannot be cancelled.

Why long range mastery 10? Is it for phantom?

yep it is. But it is not really needed unless you commonly cast phantom 8m or more away from the target. I have -10% long range damage from Yelb xtal and -30% long range damage from Jiangshi hat and i noticed when i cast phantom 8m or more away from target my Phantom Shlash damage drops drastically. 7m or less the damage is still high. On Arcoiris if i cast phantom 8m or more from target it deals 5k-7k pet hit. When i cast phantom 7m or less from Arcoiris it deals 10k-12k per hit.

that's also what I know but I saw lynx's tempest dw vid and even with using jiangshi, noticed that the ps hits were still at 10k or more (done close)

P.S. also seen vids proving long range mastery working on PS even with any range.
I dunno what is true anymore...

The skill long range and the stat on the gear long range % are different.
The skill long range permanently boosts damage by 10% any skill that can be used from 8m or more.
While the stat long range % from your gears only work if you use the skill from 8m or more in field.

So based on everything I saw,
-long range passive skills affects PS regardless of range.
-long range from gear affects PS but depends on range

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Phantom CAN be used from 8m any skill that can be used such a way gets permanent 10% boost in damage from the shot skill dont call it long range call it distance mastery or something so that its not confusing. Even skills like impact and charging slash gets this buff just coz they can be used from a long distance.

While the stats long range +% and short range +% found on the gear stats only get applied if you use the skill from the specific range (8m+ for long range and <8m for short range) so yep phantom can get multiplier from short range if it is used from less than 8m.
