A few questions for a tonfa build :)

I'm currently making a brawler and have questions for a master Tonfa build. Like how much flat crit rate is needed and if I might have enough. And what's better, str or crit stat?

The equipment and xtals:
On wepon - Pomi chan, idk second yet. Megi Champ expensive
Assassin garb - orn (+15cr)
Shaved ice - y. Mom (+30 cr I think)
Lil empress dagger (+10cr)
Speed tali IV - seele (+15cr)

Avatar set gives +13 cr

Of course will be getting battle crit lv10.

 

An extra +25 crt is needed to make up from tonfa's -100% crt stat. So crt personal stat has very little impact if at all. Str is the better stat of the two. Could also use dex or even vit.

Currently your equips+crt up would total 88crt. Easiest way to get remainder is to use crt food buff.

 

Str is better. If you want your crit to count, farm for the hell empress armor.

 

Where's that event? Dress looks cute and I saw the 100% crit rate, that'd definitely counter tonfa's -100%.

 

Would that 88cr total be counting megi champ or not?

CRT increases your base crit, but Tonfa's -100% crit will make your base crit 0. So CRT is useless.

 

Follow up question. Does toram's crit stat give both to crit rate and crit damage? If so I imagine that'd be why str is better if using tonfa.

Is pom cheaper than mardula? It looks like 2% atk and 4ampr vs 12 or so agi...? Do you also have a dodge build in mind? The pom seems more like a secondary slot option imho megi will pretty much be worth the farm and this event should help fund you in the short term I believe

 

Tonfa: Gwaimol+Pomie
Lil Emp Dagger
Arm: Fc18 + Ornlarf
Shaved Ice + Y.Mom
Machina + Seele

This is giving 83 Crit and adding it to your avatar you get 96Crit

 

+14 crit from lvl 6 crit food and you've cleared 100crit

Also, if you can use megiston champ xtal, then the shaved ice (azuki mom) can be switched for bear hat (+dps xtal)

 

The current equipment abovementioned in my post also has other useful stats. Speed tali has 200 more mp then machina, so unless I get another xtal like bexiz( I think that's how its spelled) or something like that to add more c.rate then I'd rather the 200 extra mp.

Pomi Chan gives dodge which is still useful for brawlers just not very high priority. My build is agi str vit(might split a bit str to Dex for a bit cspd for chakra). Megi is just too expensive imo, I cut the cost tremendously by just getting the curious dress. Since I got the curious dress I am going to get that other xtal. We actually have about 4 events going on at once. Hanami, the anime one, golden coryn and Hell empress. All 4 somewhat useful for spina.
