Let's all have a moment of silence for all the players who actually have to learn how to play the game now upon implementation of the new guard/evade system. Now instead of blaming your tank, you can actually hold yourself accountable this time around

Man if you die now with this system is cuz boss just dont stop attacking but like doesnt let u breathe.

 

The old meme of "dying is ghey!" Will make a hard comeback since with this new system, vitless build will be hot again.(most will fail to remember, if you are laggy af, you are good as ded.)

 

the evasion sure is hard to use to prevent receiving auto attack

 

harder than p.def if you ask me.

 

i find it easier to just fish for the evade cuz i have 12 charge (1.0s) which is wayyyyyyyy too much than i know what to do with.

 

But it's full i-frames and it recharges and is MP independent so no dps has any excuse really. on the flip side, tanks are now less useful except for mages and unskilled players.

 

Tank is still viable on boss events tho normal boss runs, paladins will take the spotlight, the str vit builds btw.

 

Its just a slightly better backstep, evasion doesn't give i frame, it only evades 1auto attack even when its locked on to you. But if you get hit with aoe you'll be a goner. And you dont really evade auto attacks unless you solo.

Best "semi tank" is Dual wielders, for runs that only require an aggro holder, a Dw would do their job decently while retaining its damage output

 

Yeah, the ones that can attack not the zero DMG tanks. If the no ailment thing is true, those tanks are dead af.

So basically, you need guard AND evasion. Fun!~

i think it would barely change the team composition on high difficulty boss (included usual bosses in NM and ulti mode), tho the composition on normal and hard mode will become 4 full damage dealers, since it wont be that hard as long you have decent way to use guard. And no, evasion will only usable to evading area attacks, since triggering the actual evasion system need a decent amount of player capabilites

 

With a combination of evasion and your class respective i-frame skill you can solo any boss now without taking damage (without pdef).

Nah, it'd definitely change the dynamics to orient towards more damaging. Seems like it'd be more skill based combat now, especially for evasion users

 

And I love that. I hated to rely on RNG or expensive i-frame skills to avoid auto attacks

 

For those who didnt get it. ITS THE SAME TIMING.

 

Evasion only works in the moment you use it while PDef lasts a little longer than the moment you click the button

 

Yeah but if you get attacked you need to press it in the exact time or a little before

 

it's hard using it with perfect timing believe me. Try doing it, perfect defense is easier but this manual evade is so hard to time. Better run from fire than face it head on.
