Abbreviation Help?

So idk of this is the right place to post this but can anyone tell me what a "crystal armor app" does for example? I know it makes your armor look like the crystal armor but... How? Like after buying it what would one do? Just.. Wear it? Or...?
Also, what do these short abbreviations that everyone uses while selling items mean? For example, "c777"? Cause I try to understand em all but it gets so confusing, mostly because I'm new and started a little less than a week ago.
So please just post whatever abbreviation you could think of that's highly used in the marketplace and what they mean, here it's greatly appreciated.

Xtal armor app is just a cool app. You can lock the app then do dye combos or add a stats. C777 is crit 777. 777 is the max amount of numbers you can put in.

 

1)C777 means crit rate 7, crit rate 7%, crit dmg 7

2)App usually means armor without stat. Is for you to sync with armor with the stats you desire.

 

So would you be able to wear the app After applying the dyes to it and such? And ahhhh that makes much more sense cause of the stats I've seen, thank you for this

You can either use synthesis skill if you have a alchem if not you can sync at NPC which cost spina.

NPC synthesis 1st lock will be 2k spina...2nd lock 50k..3rd lock..i dont remember

 

What does a "lock" do to the armor? Sorry as you can tell I'm totally new with these stuff lol

 

No problem. Just visit the synthesis NPC and you can play around with the options before you actually sync it to know what can you get. You can understand more that way.

 

Edit* Lock means choosing the option you want to keep out of the 2 equipment. Either the appearance, the stats, or the dye.

Yes.But i usually lock app n stat since i hav synth skill..Coz we can get the dye so easy until 4 Feb

 

Makes more sense, since those are what really matter haha. And you can't get dyes as easily after feb 4? How come? I feel so behind

 

There a boss called golden potum in Rakau Plains...It drop lot dye..like black..white..red n blue..The boss will available until 4 Feb for 3M Download event..I called the event "Dye Festivals"

 

APP is short for Appearance. Now, XTAL (Crystal) Armor is a boss drop (From Eerie Crystal) and equipment from bosses are untradable. SO, what people do is they synthesize the untradable equipment to something tradable (crafted equipment). If you synthesize the app to a trash equipment, then it's just the app.

Like how dye is actually put on trash equipment to sell because you can't trade the drop itself.

There's three things you can lock. 1. APP 2. STATS 3. DYE. Now when someone is TWO-lock they can only lock/keep TWO of those. You risk the third one of being something else (but it's still possible to get what you want.) Some Apps can take up to THREE different dyes (A,B,C). So if you're 2-lock and you want to have TWO dyes 100% in, you'd have to risk the APP, the STATS, and the other dye if you had another dye currently in.

Here's an example! Bob got an Aqua Garb from Astol (Boss). Bob synth'd it to his amazing armor so he can look cool and have the good stats from such amazing armor!
But then there's no dye on it, but Bob want to dye it blue. SO, Bob has Blue dyes A B and C. So what Bob does since he's only 2 Lock, is that he needs to lock STATS for sure because he risks losing the stats from his amazing armor and then locks a Dye A. So It's guaranteed that he keeps the stats and a dye. BUT he risks losing the app (aqua garb). But Bob has many aqua garbs so he doesn't care. If he wants to add another dye, he has to risk the first dye (AND the app) he put because he still can't risk the stat and needs to guarantee the other dye.

So what most people do is dye the app first before you go and add it to an armor/weapon so you have the extra lock to mess around with.

Synthesis NPC does 1-lock for 2,000s. 2-lock for 50,000s. 3-lock for 1,000,000s.
