Exactly. Good point. They forget that a pt can only hold 4 people, and there are 4 ranks. Hmmm? Is this a coincidence!? NO its not. Pt needs a DPS(Attacker), someone to flinch/tumble/stun(Breaker),someone to draw Arggo(Tank), Healer/buff support(Support). 4 people 4ranks. Pt must work together, but that died a long time ago. Now everyones forgot about working together and is self-centered on out performing to grab a rank or 2. Kinda sad tho.

 

all ppls likes to do is spam the hell out of their combos.. eat all proration.. and keeps thinking of attacker rank.. RIP

 

Effort to deal lots of dps would still be weighed heavily, so people would still make it about dealing dps. It's just natural in mmos for most players who play physical classes to chase after and compete for the highest dps.

 

I remember reading once a player saying "it's all fine and dandy, just play the way you want in a normal, casual farm. But when it comes down to gem runs, that's where you'll see who's really a pro, and who can't keep up."

Gem runs are the place to worry about functioning properly in a party. For gem runs, if I use dual wield, I usually tank since I always weave in and out of damage, so tank and breaker are usually my goals. Support, too, if no one in party is using support buffs.

If we use a real tank, then I usually go for breaker since auto attacking plays a big role for breaker rank, and that's helpful to party proration.

But, as I said. It's an mmo. Fighting for highest dps is typical. I find it fun to compare dps and fight for attacker. It makes for friendly competition.

 

In some parties who dont secure ranks after a few rounds they go typt.. DW with a WC can secure support..and breaker for spammers.

I remember when the full crit DPS fad had first started, it was all (or mostly) because of the fact that Snipe used to always crit if you had a bow. It turned out that that was a bug, so it got fixed. When it got fixed, people wanted to recover their dps to what it used to be, so they started making c777 equips.
I remember when the brawler was one of the most OP classes due to the fact that you could block most incoming damage with flinch, tumble, stun, and high dodge rates, while still dealing a lot of damage.

 

Players who cry and complain, and then leave because they can't secure a rank while farming are just bad in general.

What's funnier than those players are the players who leave the party when dual wield secures attacker more than them. This usually tends to be 2h users :')

 

those who cant rank secure?? i got a fu pt he cant get a rank at iconos then he always flinch ico for him to cope up with our dps ._. even so im still the attacker that time.. i was like.. wtf full ampr gears yet i can still snatch attacker rank like wtf.. then i noticed that the pt are terrible af .. im the only one prorating with spin.. and use spin smite.. classes are op if played right and builded right..

 

Fu dps is typically bad in a party full of physical dps, even with 1 mage, they usually do bad because they rarely prorate.

But I just meant those players who leave when they can't get a single rank for rank rewards.

only +25 crt rate then?? not +50%crt rate? e.e

 

50% of base crt rate would only be 12.5 (13 after rounded). 25 crt rate is the better option.

 

i noticed that crt % stacks with astute and other crt skills.. since i never saw white dmg on my build whenever im abusing shadowstep+astute buff..
got no crt on weap

 

You've probably raised flat crt enough to max crt with astute+shadow step.

 

Astute is flat crit. Doesnt add to base crit. Its the same as gettng flat crit on weap and armor
