About Finale...

Welp... actually I think this question has been asked b4 and may be asked many times by many players but I came back game and quite forget much.
I heard that Element equipments (i.e Light, Dark, Fire,...) doesn't affect Finale's damge, but %damage to ele DOES affect the damage.
For example, Finale's dmg to a fire ele mob with a staff that has the 14% damage to fire stat will be better than the staff without the % dmg to fire
However, I remember that both don't affect to Finale's dmg.
So I remember wrongly or the %damage to ele actually affect damage of Finale

 

Awaken Element and Damage to Element (or Stronger against Element) are two different stats, they are not the same.

Awaken Element changes the element of all of your attacks and skills to that element (except a few certain skills, Finale is one example of being locked at Neutral). Those attacks and skills - and only those attacks and skills - deal increased damage to the targets that has the element that your element is strong against, and the increased amount is always fixed (25%).

Damage to Element (or Stronger against Element), on the other hand, does not change the element of any of your attacks nor skills, only change the damage you dealt to targets with that specific element. This stat allow all and every of your attacks and skills to deal modified damage regardless of their element. Also, unlike the aforementioned, the value of this stat is not fixed, and can even be negative, therefore the damage increase (or decrease) you get can be different depending on the value of the stat that you have.

 

Only awaken element doesn't work. Damage to element % works just fine.

Finale now is affected by srd/lrd% btw.

wow, that's new to me. Btw, the effect of srd/lrd is depend on the skill cast range or the position of the player and srd is from 8m to 0 and lrd is from 8m and further right?

 

srd/lrd depends on position of player. srd is 0-7m. long range skill depends on skill cast range

PS i know originally long range skill doesn't affect placed skills like finale, but did they rework it?
