About mobs agro

    Hi all, im a newbie tank who need some advice.
    Im gonna build BG tank coz it has good agro from arm brake line n good ampr too doeto long range decoy.
    And also the combo im planing is non AoE skill so it won.t draw annoying mobs that inflicts ailment to party.
    But i wonder if i will take agro of mobs to aim me that got hit by party accidently (impact for example) without hitting them coz i've no AoE skills.
    Or can i still cover multiple mini bosses with only hitting spam combo to 1 of them only?

    If i'm not wrong, "most" skills that hit a single target only get you aggro... from a single target.
    There are some skills that are considered "global" aggro - decoy shot, war cry, guardian, sanctuary and everything that gets hit by AOEs will have aggro added.

    Berserker,warcry,meyko,guardian are examples of skills you can use for generate agroo in multimobs,minibosses. Single target skills not gona work for hold agroo of more of 1 mob,miniboss(target).

    Thanks so much explanation now i get it.
    Hitting skill only generate agto to the hit target. But support skills will generate all party boss/mobs. Now its clear thankyou

    Some hiting skills Aoe can generate agro multi mobs,miniboss(if the skill hit all the mobs,minis) but it have 3 problems. 1 need hit all the targets, 2 if the skill is evaded it dont generate agro on the targets that got evade the atack and of course 3 proration use a phisical aoe like binding for multi mobs gona generate phisical proration that need be clear. So better skills for agro in multi mobs,minis are suport by far.

    Anoo,,, how does guardian agro caculate if the buff touched by party. It tells i will take pt agro who touch my guardian area.
    How much% agro will i steal from party's agro?

    You don't steal their aggro. They get aggro reduction of (60 + 2x your shield refine)% which is 90% if refine +s. And you generate some fixed party aggro every 3s(5 + 5x n.o of connected members?) that isn't affected by aggro%. Wish skill tree list wasn't deleted.

    1. If my party has agro -10% i have +s shiled. Will their agro becomes
    -10%+ -90%= 0%
    or 90%*-90%= 9%?
    2. If i recast guardian dueto spam combo, will it recount agro generate? I mean will it makes some differrents from if i hold no recast guardian?

    2. If u recast guardian while buff is still active and there's no1 connected, u just refresh buff duration and there's no 600mp aggro, iirc from ayam's vid.

    There are 2 types of buff, party buff and self buff, party buff will generate aggro for the whole mobs, even the ones that target your party mates, the skills includes: decoy shot, warcry, sneak attack, auras and other support skills such as first aid and heal

    Self buff such as rampage, berserk, meikyo, kairiki ranshin only generate aggro for your own mobs, so its best to combine these two types of buffs. Sanctuary seems like a self buff too since when I use a berserk+sanctuary combo, they dont lure all mobs.
    Warcry+decoy on the other hand, is really effective to lure aggro

    The effective range is 24 m so if you cant reach that range to the mobs the aggro doesnt apply (yea, those shifty cats at mithurna ruins)

    As for guardian aggro. Some says the no aggro when recast without party member in range was false, I dont know which one is true though, I dont like to spam guardian eitherway since the animation is so slow even with swift tag or triggslash buff. Decoy is slow but you will still benefit from each re-cast
