About Seashells...

Help. I finally got Seashells in the dive event. But why is it untradable? And can anyone tell me what character type suits it the best? I'm sorry a newbie in confusion here.

 

Use it for a personal 2h attacker merc. Good Atk + Accuracy stats

 

Equipment you usually trade in via points or get as a reward are usually untradeable. People usually sell the appearance (aka app) of the equipment or use it for themselves if the stats are good.

Btw, if you want to buy an app at the cb, you change the parameter method to appearance. And, even if you don't want to use Seashells anymore, just sell the app. It's worth a lot spina, and people are willing to pay a lot for it later on.

How do i get the appearance? I mean is there a way to extract the appearance of an item like seashells?

You can not extract the appearance unfortunately. But you can transfer its appearance to another armor by consuming the original armor itself. You do this at the synthesis shop (it has fee) or use a character with synthesis skill.

 

Go to the Synthetist in a town of your choice (e.g. Sofya, Hiora, El Scaro), and click on Synthesize Equipment.
Select an tradeable arm (e.g. Adventurer's Garb) you either made yourself (doesn't matter whether it failed or not) or bought from the CB as the Main Item. Select the desired arm you want the app from as Sub Item. Tap on Next.
[Side Note: Both arms should be unlocked, or else you won't be able to select it]

Please select the appearance: Tap on the right arrow to get the appearance from the Sub Item. Tap on Next again, it will lead you to the option for the dyes. Just tap on next again.

Please select the ability: Tap on the left arrow so you actually get the tradeable advent garb as a result. Tap on Next, and synthesize.

It should cost you around 50k spina to get it done without dye (if there were any). The costs will rise with each dye added, astronomically. Thus, people make/use their own synth char. And it doesn't take that long to get to 3-lock.

Yes, they can repeat the synthesis process to give seashells' app to their beloved armor

 

I hope it is elaborate enough. I saw people selling it for around 20M. It will increase obviously after the event ends, so try to sell it after waiting at least for a few months. Since Seashells is limited to 1 piece per acc, there are plenty of people willing to pay a hefty sum for that.

I'm just gonna ignore the people who are willing to create more accs and farm points for that flimsy thing.
