About Sub Weapon Elements

so guys i have been playing the game for a while and i still dont understand the Sub weapon element thing!
like if a sub weapon just has "Fire Element" "Light Element" etc will i get a damage boost against that certain element?so even if a dont get a stat/crysta boost from sub weapons,and No "Damage to Element(DTE)" on the Main Weapon, do i still get the elemental damage boost just cause the sub weapon has the element?
for example i have a-
STR%,ATK%,CRT and CDMG
one handed sword equipped as a main weapon.so i if just equip another "Fire Element" or "Wind Element" etc one handed sword as a sub weapon am i good to go as a Dual Wielder?

 

Yes, for dual wielders you'll be fine with elemental sub weapon.

 

so just having an elemental sub weapon
will give elemental advantage?no need extra DTE on main?is that it? =))

 

DTE on sub weapon doesn't take effect anyway. If you want it, put it on your main weapon and/or armor.
