Adding stat to a capped stat

If i equip a +6%Dex on my char that have 255 dex , does it increase pass the cap ? (assuming i havent unlock the 510 stat cap yet)

 

yes it will increase your dex by 15 no matter what the cap is, tho the added stat won't be literally shown on the character stat menu, but the other stats like ATK, HIT, etc. that increased by that 15 dex will literally be added to their respective stat on the character menu.
