Advice on halberd build

i have a lvl 83 character which i made last yr as 2h sword build since i was sure i will mess up the build i bought both skill and stat reset book during that time..now am back to toram hoping those books are still there i wanna change it into halberd build..so guys I need your help on stat and skill distribution so that I won't mess up again x

 

Go full STR and get crit rate increasing equips; after maxxing out STR go for AGI.
Strike Stab is the best skill to use for DPS, or you could use Dive Impact, but it doesn't do as much damage.
You should also equip a dagger and get Spike Dart to level 10 so you can put an ailment on your target so Strike Stab can do more damage.
A spammer-type build would probably be best for halberds since they have terrible AMPR (you should still prorate though). An example of a simple spammer combo would be: Spike Dart> Shell Break(Save)> Strike Stab(Smite)> Flash Stab(Swift), though this combo isn't the best it would still work. You should try to get Quick Draw too to make spamming more reliable.
