Amoeba Machina ; Tonfa

Ok wow..how do u guys (who have tonfa) got tonfa with that ..miserable amount of ppl there..?
Hardly 1 person is there..how do u guys get them QwQ)? It doesnt help that guy renders my mage kinda useless with those aoe skills when stuck in one place like, ‘yo dude! Whats up? Wanna kill ? Go ahead, imma wait here for 3 sec ^^)b’
I really want to farm em, considering all good builds with it..or l might have to go to ‘Drills’ in this case -w-)..(since ppl consider it useless to farm that poor lil guy..
Hmm..would anniv knuckles be good..?
For tank/dps builds?

 

hmm not advisable to solo with mage. only a dps char with pdef could do it reliably. maybe ask your guild for help.

there is also a set pattern to its aoe attacks, and it will always throw two eb-draining auto attacks in between too. Range of donut aoe is huge and either you need to stay close to the tank/aggro holder or at least 10+m away from him/her.

Also best to trap it into a corner when fighting so that it has no room to 'backstep'

good luck, and keep in mind tonfas are a really rare drop too

 

Anniv knuc damage may be able to reach tonfa. To against Amoeba, melee combat build is better, and get a back step will do.

Pattern 1 : normal double attack
If you using AGI build, with 750 above Flee you have around 50% chance to dodge it, else 1-2 eb will do.

Pattern 2 : Self AOE skill
About 3-4m AOE skill, use backstep within 1m still can avoid, you can set combo like
Backstep > Warcry > Impact > Chariot or Backstep > Warcry > Buster blade if a blade user.

Pattern 3 : Deadly Laser
This skill is fractional and take always 50%+ HP per beam, so basically you take 2 beam will dead instantly. If you are 2-3m near to him, dash to it and move left or right. If you not, use back-step 2 times and look for the beam cross point, stand at middle to avoid it.

Pattern 4 : Huge AoE
This skill will cast immediately after the pattern 3, only the aggro holder and those who stay very far can avoid it. Thus, once the pattern 3 is use and you successful dodge it, immediately dash to him then the safe zone will become in-front of him. Before the end of pattern 4 period, Amoeba just a meat bag to you.

You can ready vaccine to counter the slow ailment from deadly beam( because it’s make you can’t use dash). After you familiar with 4 pattern above, it’s really easy to farm it.

Tbh I never get tonfa when solo him........I got luk when party with a wild party.

 

Unless anniv knuck goes up to 4th Anniv Knuck XVI, it is not going to get even close.

Highest anniv knuck will be going will probably be VIII or IX or X which means (From previous patterns)

160 base damage - 200 base damage with 90% stability.

For now :b l will try n make do with anniv knuckles, while farming for Tonfa behind the scenes *^*) if l cant..to the drills(tanky builds) it is xD

 

When Amoeba got boost on weekend, there will be quiet some ppl farming there. If you can hold the aggro, no need Pdef or any defensive skill at all, just spam HP recovery skill and manual dodge will do( I won’t suggest use Pdef Infront deadly beam, 1 mistake will cause dead) . Else get a DPS with 8K hp above with auto-potion active, and beware of deadly beam will do.

You can try lvl 160 ex mode. I was able to get 3 tonfas there.

How far can it go in atk?

 

You can solo Amoeba with any dps char(including mage not finale spam). If you know all of its skill patterns and timings. And the corner steps tricks. It is 100% possible to solo.

 

Dont know about the atk of tonfa but I got two 322 and a 330. To bad I can only upgrade these to +d because
