I might be saying this for I am using an Iphone 6s plus so I guess using the most updated device gives you more better playing experience. On the other hand, I am comparing this experience with a Samsung Galaxy S6 of which I think is very competitive. But for certain this should be really smooth running on S7 or S7 edge or other flagship Android phones. On the contrary I was an IOS hater ever since and would prefer using Android, but when I tried it out, I just figured out that it is more stable running applications at all aspect. Though I miss a lot of easier navigation, freedom and the likes with Android. Oh well, gotta respect each others preference. Dont get me wrong I love both platforms, but for me it would be best if your going to use flagship phones for each so you wont encounter problems. just my 2 cents :)

Lol. Yeah. We're opposites. I started with IOS and hated droids. Then switched to android and fell in love. Lol. But yeah, for stability and security - IOS. Not just for toram. But... I can do a lot with Androids. So i'm staying. :)

    Whatever works for you, right?

Sure! I surely miss using apps like share-it, plug and play my MP3 files, share videos and photos with friends with ease and going to screens with one click. Each has its strengths and weaknesses, I would like to venture jailbreaking my phone in the future.

iOS has easier navigation for most users tho. Also always updated :| Long-term support too officially. I always preferred iOS because of the long-term support. (iOS updates) I rarely change phones.
Androids at most get 2 years of support. (Flagship. Non-flagship phones doesn't get support always) Don't point out Cyanogen or other custom roms. Those aren't official lol.

I do like android tho. I just wouldn't use it as my daily phone. I use it as a development device and just for messing with it. (I do use it as a second phone. Where I put my other lines )

    EDIT:
Just to add @Erased you said you thought they (Toram) switched to IPv6. If that happened, 95+% of the users won't be able to connect. Even you. There would be no lag because you can't even connect lol. Power users who have servers with IPv6 would be still able to connect even if they don't have IPv6. Just setup 6in4 tunnels lol

I'm using Nexus 6P, the latest Nexus flagship from Google/Huawei, and my game still lags badly ever since the Golden Potum event update. Not only that, it's been crashing in boss battles so regularly (around once per 3 to 10 battles) since that update that I'm now considering quitting. People I party with lose confidence in me quickly because of my constant DCs. It just isn't bearable anymore.

Fix the lag and crashes ASAP, Asobimo!!!

hmm i use google nexus 9 which probably isn't as powerful as yours, but i don't have constant lag, i'll crash like maybe once a week but that's because my tablet gets extra hot and i'm charging at the same time. i also notice i crash a lot more frequently if i have less than 2 gb of memory left on the device or i'm recording a video at the same time. maybe check to see if you're not running multiple programs at once or you have plenty of space on ur device to see if it'll ease the lagging a bit? and having good internet connection will prolly help as well.

I second this. It's his internet connection. He probably have a very high latency to Toram servers. (Would me 9999x worse if he has high packet loss)
I play toram on a slow 3G connection. I have 1-2mbps speed. It wouldn't work under 1mbps as I already tried. (Also I have good latency to their servers so that is the reason I don't dc)

I haven't experienced any crashes tho.

xD Those are the speed of some of my linux servers.
lol. I can go up to 8mbps around this hour tho. it's 2AM in the morning. (8mbps in 3G) 3G have a lot of latency but I don't lag in Toram :|

No idea with regard to ISP's from other countries but http://bgp.he.net/country/PH my ISP (globe) seems to offer a limited form of IPv6 service. Whether it's native or tunneled, i wouldn't know. My connection is slow as it is, so I'm really concerned about the fact that we're about to hse up IPv4 and would have to switch. Haven't really followed it for a while now, so i'm quite surprised most ISP's haven't started supporting v6 already.

You mentioned you use Android for development? Do you develop apps or roms/kernels?

And yes, oem support for Android sucks. I do use custom roms and orefer aosp, but like i said most users win't even bother. I'd love to test windows phones but the apps are too limited.

Ehhhh same country ehhhh I use Globe prepaid for internet lol. They only give IPv6 for Corporate installations afaik. The registry here in Asia already ran out of IPv4 addresses long time ago btw.
I also checked ISPs here regarding IPv6 (Checked he) My servers have IPv6 because of Hurricane Electric tho xD. 6in4 tunnels. (Tho 1 of my servers have native IPv6)

I just started studying android development. (Basics) I'm a web developer actually. So I might just use PhoneGap or something so I can use my current skills. (I do know C++ and already made a few apps) Me not liking Java is a hindrance to studying NDK lol

I have a Cherry Mobile One. I like it because it has monthly security updates and gets updates directly from Google. I do like custom roms tho. I'm planning to get a G1 since I'm giving my CM One to my grandma. (She wants my iPhone tho T.T)

Lol. Really? Cool. Yeah, i use Globe, both prepaid and postpaid. No idea they don't have IPv6 for personal use. It's already 3am here. Lmao. But max i got from prepaid was around 1mb. How do you get yours to reach 8mb?

I don't know C++. I'm an accountant by trade with no formal lessons, but i tried teaching myself Java (since it's popular nowadays lol). So that's all i understand as far as coding is concerned. Let me know when you finally take the leap to Java lol. :D

You're lucky.. My mom asked for my phone so she could play Pou. :/ and she had me cheat it for coins. -.-

8mbps is by chance lol. If I'm lucky I get 5mbps stable with bursts up to 8mbps. Once time becomes 7AM it slows down. The 800mb limit per day is a bish tho. I use consumable internet.

Programming is just my hobby. I'm still a student lol. I studied php since 2014 or 2013 idk. (HTML/CSS/JS not so much since I'm a backend coder) I'm most likely not to use Java tho. I don't like it plus I don't want to use more money just to download another IDE + JDK. I already have VS Express for C++/VB.NET (I'm just an HS student btw.)

Thanks but those were definitely not the case for me.

My game used to run very smoothly everywhere (save perhaps for farming in a storm party at Nisel Mountain) with no crash ever at all prior to the Golden Potum event update. After the update the degradation in performance and stability was dramatic and immediately noticeable, and I had not installed or run any additional apps on my phone before and after the update. My Comcast cable modem connection at home and my connection at work are both well over 200Mbps with no tangible latency whatsoever. Something must have changed in the core of the game since the Golden Potum event update to have caused such a huge degradation in my game play. But then again I have no idea why most other players don't seem to have the same issues either.
