archer 1mp snipe combo fail

    moeba > smoke (save) > bullseye (consec) > arrow rain (consec) > power shot (swift) > snipe (smite) > para shot (consec)

    with this combo you can snipe with just 1mp WITHOUT damage reduction from save, while debuffing at the same time :)

    edit: crap lol, 12 cp combo, epic fail HAHAH wish they could increase cp cap soon! also i was trying to make a combo WITHOUT impact, so keep that in mind.

    there's a bit problem with the combo, it uses 12 CP, not 10 which is the current limit,
    i think if i can tweak this a bit it can be like this:

    moeba shot ~> smoke dust (save) ~> sonic wave ~> bulls eye (cons) ~> paralyse shot (cons) ~> snipe (smite) ~> ??

    paralyse shot increases your stability for snipe

    snipe is on the 6th position, it has 0% Save penalty, so a total of 150% damage from smite

    ?? = knife throw / hard hit, due to weapon requirements it will not execute.

    Moeba > Smoke Dust (save) > Snipe (smite) > Bullseye (consec)
    Short and smited.

    Oh, nvm you don't want to penalize Snipe's dmg.

    -60% damage from Save, so it only gives you 90% after smite, then there is a remaining MP from Smoke Dust so this would not be a 1mp combo

    Ok, so then it can be:
    Moeba > Smoke Dust (save) > Bullseye (consec) > Snipe (smite) > Smash/T.Knife/HH (which will not trigger)

    a bit of experiment (i need someone to test this)
    Sneak Attack- (MP 200) No Limit Hide yourself and turn Aggro away. Certain attacks don't get Aggro after this skill.

    Moeba Shot ~> Smoke Dust (save) ~> Sonic Wave ~> Paralyse Shot (cons) ~> Sneak Attack (cons) ~> Snipe (smite) ~> Hard Hit / Knife Throw

    also, max Provoke gives +1000 hate value, maybe a maxed Sneak Attack removes 1000 hate?, and cancels out aggro value on next skill?

    ahh i completely forgot about that skill, would be great if it could prevent you from drawing aggro from snipe

    yeah, need someone to test that combo, it's the same effect as Trigger Slash (in it's case +40% animation speed on next skill), with Sneak Attack, we don't know how much hate points it removes at max level and if it also cancels out all Snipe's aggro/hate skill value.

    if the theory about Sneak Attack works, then Snipers will not worry about being killed while spamming 1 MP Smited Snipe Combos ;)

    Maybe @ViPR could answer to this matter about Sneak Attack, as his Shadow Sniper uses it in a 1mp combo.

    If you do not want save penalty for Snipe, you can use this:

    Mobea > Smoke dust (Save) > Power shot (swift) > paralyse shot (Consec) > Impact (Consec) > Snipe (Smite) = 100mp

    Full 150% smite Snipe.

    Oww... Without impact, you cannot effective avoid save penalty. To obtain 0 damage reduction, the skill has to be 4th away from the saved skill as the damage reduction starting with the saved skill is 80% 60% 40% 20% then the last skill at the combo will suffer 0% reduction.

    with smiting the last skill, the smited skill will cost double mp. So the snipe in this case costs 800mp to use. Impact cuts that in half, so it becomes 4 again to repay 400/500 of Smoke dust.

    Having said that, if you use swift instead of smite, the skill will not cost double mp, but you bring out 100% skill damage instead of 150%.

    If you would settle for anything less than 150%, put the smited Snipe at 4th or 5th position in the combo will do just fine ^^

    or, you can use this combo ;) (been using a similar setup on my xbow+knucks before i deleted it and restarted from scratch to get both triple kick and snipe):

    Moeba Shot ~> Smoke Dust (Save) ~> Sonic Wave ~> Paralyse Shot (cons) ~> Sneak Attack (cons) ~> Snipe (smite) ~> knife throw / hard hit

    so a shorter combo at 90% total, so we can extend it to this to prevent aggro maybe?

    Moeba Shot ~> Sneak Attack (Save) ~> Bullseye (Cons) ~> Impact (Cons) ~> Snipe (Smite) ~> Paralysis Shot (Cons)

    got cons to prevent aggro, maybe Sneak will activate on the part of Snipe because it's not consumed on Bullseye and Impact?

    20% penalty from Save, 130% damage for Snipe after Smite

    then maintain a distance of at least 8 meters (so that Long Range skill will activate if ever you got one, and avoid AOE)

    would go with smash as last skill to minimize aggro but nc setup

    unfortunately the combo logs will not help, unlike when i was testing for Save (show damage, show combo) :oops:

    I used it now Moeba>Smoke(save)>PS(Swift) /Para (swift)>Snipe (smithe)>bull (cons)

    And i enjoyed it :D

    Ok I tested today and I might be wrong but if u have no agro sneak won't activate so your combo wont go through. Also it needs to be like lvl10 cos lvl1 did almost nothing to keep agro off me.

    Moeba>Sneak atk (save)>impact(consec)>Snipe(smite)>hard hit(consec dosent gain aggro or avoids enough for even the weakest pt members to take aggro instead of me.(is this effective?..100mp only?.and hard hit like???..

    Interesting thread, @dawne. May I join? Let's say you only have Shot Skills as your offensive skills. Here's my personal favorite combo: Moeba>Smoke Dust (Save)>Power Shot (Swift)>Paralyze Shot (Cons.)>Snipe (Smite)>Sneak Attack (Cons.)
    As a result, you will only need to consume 100 MP. It's not a high attack power combo, but works well with bow users to inflict status effects (Slow, Blind, Tumble, Paralyze, and Guard Break). And you still be able to increase the snipe damage a little due to Snipe being Smited (130%). The aggro that we received will be diminished by the Sneak Attack at the end of the combo. Note, that you have to use Sneak Attack before initiating the combo as well. What do you guys think?
