Are Monster Stats Factored In After Taming?

    HP seems to be the only listed stat for monsters.

    For instance, a lvl 214 Nuemon monster is listed as having 38,800 HP. Is that HP factored into the Pet after it becomes tamed? I ask because if it does, then I want to tame monsters with higher HP.

    no.
    pets' hp depends on their level and VIT stat.
    after taming, pets get assigned a random weapon type, personality and attribute.
    the only thing that carries over from their monster form is their appearance and the available attack patterns.
