Arrow or dagger for snipe?

Do they differ with power?
Let's say both are:
1. Neutral
2. Same stats
3. 100% stability
would they give a different damage to snipe?

 

None of them. Use shield instead.

 

daggers don't have stability ewe
So either the dagger has much better stats or the arrow will stay the better possibility.

if u want to be a gun tanker ...go for shield -.- (that's all what aya cares Abt)
And if u want dmg ...go for either a dagger with great stats or an arrow which adds stability

Heres a quick rundown.
You wanna ask for arrows vs. daggers for 3 cases.
1.)neutral (no ele as arrows will have an edge because of all the ele arrows)
2.)same stats (if in case it was possible to get an arrow and dagger with the exact same stats i believe)
3.)100% stability (now this is tricky i dont know what you mean by 100% stability)
Do you mean:-
i)The bg already has 100% stability before equipping dagger/arrow.
ii)Which one gives more stability? (If this is the case then arrows would win for sure as they add stability to bg and bows)
---> If its no.i) of your case 3.) then arrow will win again because weapon atk of arrows again get added to bg/bow but not the weapon attack of dagger.

---> So to put it simply for all your three cases the thing that will increase dmg of snipe is arrows coz since u assumed that both have same stats then arrow weapon atk will work but dagger weapon atk wont.

--->But tbh such cases are not possible as both daggers and arrows have specialized stats and there is other hidden stuff to look out for too (ex. Arrows give -25% def/mdef but daggers dont)

Another question though, old shaped knife? How big is the cd+3? I mean, "3" seems very small... Idk if it would make a difference tbh. Yet, stats from outfits are only cd 11 and cd7%. So I wonder how big do they add to damage?

Let's say your damage without statted items is 10,000(critical).
If you have cd+11, cd 7% stats on your items, how big could the damage get? (Assuming it's a critical strike)

 

Critical hit acts as a multiplier.
Base critical dmg is 150%
Every cdmg+ (flat) adds point to this base directly.
Every cdmg+% adds points depending on the amount of base cdmg (coz its a % :v)
For example like you said:-
Cd+11 cd+7% = cd+11+10 (7% of 150 is 10)
Since most snipers max dex first they usually have lower cdmg than pure str classes which makes the stat "cdmg%" less useful.
5str=1cdmg increases the base so the cdmg% stat (depending on base cdmg) is better for pure str.

About your question supposing 10k critical i will answer in a bit coz dinner is served brb 15mins :v

Ok back.
For 10k critical hit cd+11 and cd+7% will make it into 11.36k critical hit.
As overall cdmg became 171%
Usually cdmg stat is better that atk% stat for a pure str char but for pure dex char atk% can be better if pot conservation is considered.
So heres the basic idea:-
Try to reach:-
i)1800-1900 ATK
ii)Total cdmg from 180-190%
iii)Elemental arrows for +25% dmg
You can go even higher but then you will have to sacrifice the valuable Critical rate stat. Your total dmg that you can do will be extremely high if you give up on critical rate but you wont be able to do subsequent criticals easily. So i suggest get at least a decent amount of critical+
iv)Critical Rate of 60-70 total.

I used to have a bg sniper in the past but deleted it coz other classes seemed more interesting.
You can ask about stats on gears and stuff from @Alzarith he is one of the best bg snipers on forums currently after prec retired.
