Assassin Lvl 4 Test

Lemme start with sicarius:
- gives the same damage buff to backstab like foresight and backstep
- once you use backstab you gain a buff that lasts 30 sec (100 atk and x% pierce)
- while the buff is active you don‘t gain the damage boost to backstab (so effectivly only 1 boosted backstab every 30 sec)

Imo the damage buff to backstab isn‘t relevant. The amount of pierce will decide if sicarius will be relevant or not. So if you tested the p.p. already please share it^^

Shadow walk: (it gets interesting here)
I am assuming everything with dagger sub (didnt test no sub)
- upon use you gain 10 stacks (cant rebuff while the buff is active, 2min)
- everytime you evade and DONT have aggro you gain a stack (max is 20)
- when you take damage WHILE HAVING aggro you loose all stacks
- you will do a bit extra damage if you evade while you are in auto attack range (dont know about proration)
Interesting part starts here:
- when you have 10+ stacks you can use evasion as an i-frame (only works WITHOUT aggro)
- when you use evasion as i-frame once you loose 10 stacks, so you can‘t use it as i-frame repetitively

Since sicarius doesn‘t active while the buff is active for 2minutes it should work as a smite combo ender.

I feel, they made the assassin skills overly condition dependent without the trade off of OP damage.

Like, you can't impact+spam the skill like other T4 skills. And when all the conditions align, your damage is...well, decent for a brief moment...

I tested the pierce from the sicarius buff and it‘s around 30%....thats huge....Also can be used with all subweapons. So shadow step/triple thrust behind the boss, use backstab and woops 30% more pierce for the next 30 seconds

 

it seems that flash blast like thing during evasion eats proration. According to what I see on this video that is.

 

damn, that i frame using 10 stacks deals damage too? it deals a ton of damage seriously.

 

I don't know about anyone else, but for me the damage boost to back stab always seems to be active. I haven't done any exact calculations yet, but it seems like sicarius boosts back stab's damage by 100%. With foresight, back stab has a base multiplier of 7.5, so with both the buff from backstep and sicarius, that is effectively a multiplier of 22.5.

 

That's a huge boost for a pure backstab-only build.

 

Ok, I can see why they put that no agro limit on shadow walk now. Holy shit that's a lot of damage for no MP cost.

Is shadow walk a placed skill? Is it affected by short range damage% and long range damage% stats?

 

Yh after testing again I also still got the buff....

Even though the skill description doesn't state anything about weappn requirements the atk and pierce gain is halved if you don't use a dagger sub. So 100 vs 50 atk and roughly 30 vs 15% pierce.

 

Any idea on how much dmg is reduced when the Sicarius buff is active?

 

Tested sicarius today and got 25% p. pierce for dagger, 10% for non-dagger

 

the 100 attack is relevant imo on knuckle and bowgun sub dagger considering both weapons has low weapon attack. Does it need to be level 10 to gain 100 attack?

Edit: I wonder if shadow walk is unsheathe just like flash blast. has anyone tried equipping unsheathe stat gears?

 

No unsheate but is affected for Long Range and Short/Long Range Damage.

And about the buff of sicarious, get +10 ATK for Lv Skill.

 

There must be something else going on.

My 1h+dagger build is now OP. I'm doing 1.5m backstab on Ultimate Venena against the pillars and on Ornlarf Ultimate.

I'm not complaining, but I'm also like...after 5 years I don't fear getting kicked from a party.
