So, for crafting 1h swords, is there any difference between choosing str or Dexfor stat? For this blacksmith, should I still put points on tech of I lan on having a separate refinement smith?

yup there is no different whether u choose str on your full stat or dex because both only give a half potential on 1h.
tech is help u to easily increase ur prof. so its depends to you if you want you can put it if u no want then dont put it

Nice Guide, I only have two comments on this one:
TECH STAT IS REQUIRED FOR ADDING YOUR PROFICIENCY, 2 TECH = 1 LEVEL PROFICIENCY. TECH CAN HELP US FOR INCREASE SUCCESS RATE CREATE EQUIPMENT

Tech Stat doesn't increase your proficiency, instead it increases your difficulty level. 2 tech = 1 difficulty level. The higher your difficulty level, the higher your success rate in crafting an equipment

ITEM LEVEL IS ONLY LIMITATION FOR GET EXP FOR YOUR BLACKSMITH PROFICIENCY
EXAMPLE : WATER STAFF WITH ITEM LEVEL 30 AND YOUR DIFFICULTY 30, SO YOU WILL GET EXP 28-30% WHILE CREATE WATER STAFF, MORE HIGHER YOUR DIFFICULTY THAN WATER STAFF MORE LESS YOU WILL GET EXP. IF YOUR DIFFICULTY REACH 40 YOU WILL NOT GET EXP ANYMORE ( NOTE: YOU WILL NOT GET EXP ANYMORE IF YOUR DIFFICULTY MORE THAN 10 ITEM LEVEL )

Experience gain from crafting and synthesis is based on your proficiency level vs item level (not difficulty level vs item level), Notice if you have a pure tech blacksmith with level 1 proficiency, difficulty level of 95 (tech stat 190), crafting a short sword with item level 1 gives you a 25%-28% experience.

100% true ^^, its depends how many potential u have. if u have more potential u can put lot of stat (3 different stat only for now). try to have blacksmith skill upgrade equipment and there u will know how many potential required each stat

Yes, from all my experience in blacksmith, all the info in this thread is correct (except for those 2 comments i mentioned above)
As for the stats, for now you can add 3 different stats in an item, max stats vary depending on your level and what stats you want to add, however please note that the more you put stats in an item, the lower the success rate in adding the stats. worst case scenario when the success rate is so low, some of the stats before the upgrade disappears, you fail to add the stats you choose or get a negative stats instead. I suggest you make a pure tech blacksmith, they say that tech increases the success rate of upgrade equipment skill (haven't tested this yet)

I heard luck is increase the refine success rate, then Tech.
Because Tech only decrease # of break, while luck is the one that increase success rate.
And with Anti degradation is useful enough to help to hold the break thingy.

well, it's just my assumption from unknown resource (and forgot the resource), I really want to confirm but lack of character slot atm.

a full tech smith is used for refinement, adding stats and synthesit so in the end U only need to max out the skills which have to do with that :)

BS Refiner use only for adding status on equipment crafted by player using potential, for refining equipment, for alchemy and also for processing material. Both have diff build and cant be 1 chara have bs and bs refiner. Whule on refiner u should put all ur point on tech. If u using full tech for create equipment then u will get nothing potential except base equipment potential itself
