Best Tier 3 Classes/builds advice for a noob

*EDIT: Changed 'class' to 'builds'. I tend to use this as the same thing.

So, I need your guys opinion on the best lvl3 skill builds(in terms of dps and cost efficiency). If there is no BEST CURRENT BUILD*, at least something reliable for reaching lvl 150. Also, can you guys point out the worst builds, best tanks, etc? I find myself really confused with outdated posts and builds, etc. So far I tried mage(hated) and staff fu(loved, reached 102 with it mob farming only, but I felt weak for 102). Whats the best for reaching lvl 150 comfortably?

Toram got no class, no job, so there is no best class, best job, worst class or worst job.

Referring to what other people build is the only ways for you to define which is best suitable for you.

 

well mages best bet is lv 4 skill on lv 150 so understandable u hate it now. If only a class to get 150 using tier 3 skills... 2h and hal or even kat is best on their respective dmg conditions. Hal needs status due to Strike stab dmg boost on ailment. 2h requires stay put mob for its storm do immense dmg, similar to mage storm but more dmg due to crits. Katana requires a blocking sense to output dmg since hasso is iffy nowadays, zantei ftw. This 3 are king dps during lv 3 skill era. Dw and bow ofc can catch up quite well, same as brawler n mage.

Just build around ur playstyle and don't mind much on dmg. You'll soon reach it after mastery and better grade gear as well as lvs and build setups.

For survivality
Imo bg shield, with shield bash (stun), pdef, passive shield , ur get more hp, then u can also go crit base with impact snipe combo, many will need u, why coz everyone going stupid they forgot they need stunner for a certain boss, with they low hp 1 hit k.o

 

Whichever build you enjoy the best is typically the one that you would do the best with. Since you enjoy staff-fu, use staff-fu. You could always do more research on staff-fu to see what things other people have done with their staff-fu builds so you can make a really good build.

 

-25% crit rate penalty for snipe if you use bg though...

 

IMHO, the easiest build with decent dmg would be a sneaky sneaky snake bow/bg user.

For tumbling part (as pointed out by Naim), you could use moeba>power shot (swift) combo.
Main (long) combo would be: sneak>smoke dust>1mp/2mp filler>paralysis shot>impact/meikyo(if bg)>snipe>ender.
Keep short combo like impact>snipe>ender just in case.
Prorate with auto attack in-between for mp. Best if you could invest in AMPR gear.
You may keep the build without resetting once you reach lv150. There will be enough skill points for the CF play.

 

Tanks, leech finale ftw unless ur ok with mob grinding. Also, if you play bow dont solo with mercs, since you have to attack first
