Bloodsucker Spirit is useless now

Bloodsucker Spirit Effect
(10% +1cp)

While Smite can do a series (consistent 50%)
opener + smite + combo fill + smite....

Smite huge powercreep in bloodsucker spirit (at least they give new smite effect to bloodsucker spirit to make it effective only mid~long combo)

i doubt ppl will use bloodsucker spirit with old smite now

 

It's only good for one thing now, emergency healing with sub-dps skills like Phantom Slash or Snipe xD

 

it would have been good if it was 10% * (CC). God, why they didn't they of that it is so frustrating.

well, i was thinking that mr.suzuki would decrease the heal amount because it's says on news "The amount of HP absorbed that was too much has been adjusted".
but i feel the healing amount it's like 15% of damage dealt. did he put heal cap or he made a mistake like increasing it instead of decreasing it?

 

I mean, Bloody Bite became completely useless, its uniqueness was stolen from it.
I would love if Spirit tag increased Dark Power skills damage by (10 + (CC-1)*10)%

 

All skills need rework since guard and evasion.

 

After wasting an hour, I found out the damage buff of smite and bloodsucker's spirit don't stack with each other on skills that can use both (CF). If both tags are used, one for buff cast and the other for attack cast, then only the smite damage increase is applied, while sucksucker is ignored.

Welp, there goes my delusion. Sucksucker only for emergency healing then, useless while suckirit buff is active.

 

The only thing I used for bloodsucker now is for tank/support mage. Finale heal 100k hp :v. Though now I started using with other dps as heal skill, cause the massive 10-25k heal on dps mean I no longer need hp pots

 

Ah yes, with Impact > Smite, back to no VIT high risk party wipe builds.

RIP my double buff dream. Was theorycrafting on using both smite and spirit buff while waiting for free time to test it...

How? I'm testing CF dmg with smite, spirit and both. Getting really confused by the number i got. Might have some mistakes on my part...

 

I used my 100% stab 100% crit archer with no whack, and tested a few CF combos on the Raffies in Rakau Plain (the cute little blue lv1 mob) with no proration, at 4 stacks. I checked a few ways: spirit the buff cast then use the attack cast directly (no combo, no tag), use the buff cast directly then spirit the attack cast; smite the buff cast then use the attack cast directly, use the buff cast directly then smite the attack cast; smite the buff cast then spirit the attack cast, spirit the buff cast then smite the attack cast. After spending some times checking those, I saw that the damage dealt by the latter 4 are all the same, and are increased as if only smite is used on all cases, while the former 2, the damage is increased normally just as how the spirit buff works. I also checked and confirmed that even if the spirit buff is already gone, as long as the buff cast of bloodsucker CF was used while spirit is still active then the damage increase from spirit buff will still be applied.

 

Tl:dr?

 

Smite and Bloodsucker spirit bonus damage don't stack together, but bloodsucker spirit works fine alone

 

Does bloodsucker spirit bonus stack for charging skills?

Eg: 50% bonus on charge combo, 50% bonus on release combo
