Boss Xtal farming

Warning: This may be a little ranty!

So I been farming Iconos(nightmare) for at least 6 hours. 250-300 kills. Havent sniffed an xtal yet. This is with bonus week 50% and 2 hours of 50% droprate book being used. Ive had at least 5 people come and go from party, who were also farming for xtal, and got it. The latest of which was in party for a total of 5 fights and was like, "damn i got it already hehe..."

Is this just something that happens to everyone sometimes? Its getting rather tedious farming the same boss for so long with nothing to show for it. Ohh yeah, Im using Luk capped Mage too, to make things worse

 

Toram rates is extremely bad,the drop up calculation is also not reliable.

1% for xtals (approx)

100% (drop rate up) of 1% = 1% + 1% (base drop) = 2% with whatever up % LUK stat give you.

trust me it makes no fricking sense but that's toram works.

if you want the xtal for sure,better just farm common drops like halloween perhaps,sell them for spina then buy it straight from the board,less time consuming,more insurance.

In toram, you don't seek the crystals, the crystals seeks you

 

I usually move form boss to boss after 30 mins of farming and i always have sumthing to show for it

 

Well just suddenly off the WiFi connection and relog before your party kill the boss ... It actually works sometime after 1h+ farming ... But if you don't get the Boss crystal even after that ... I can only say better luck next time QwQ7

I usually farm ganglef,Bkod,and nurethoth at normal/hard mode/ultimate mode (only ganglef)with full break 2 player party.. once I got 3×ganglef in 2hour farm, 5× nurethoth at 2hour farming/boss killing, and 2×Black knigh of delusion at 2hour farming XD

 

i got more xtal from world treasure than bossing

 

Usually if it has to be farming xtal, then I usually use 2nd account LUK with me and make sure I spam enough buff for support rank. That actually do a better drop rate than just stupid book

 

Tbh I see no difference in getting good drops from a normal characters and my LUK based character, especially when everyone already gets a better chance at loots when breaking. I think you just have to be super lucky to get the random chance :c

I also noticed that some people fake saying they get xtals or loots because I caught someone saying they got an xtal and a "slotted" shield. I called them out saying that shields don't even have slots and they left the party. I suppose they like the attention?
