Bow Skills and star gems...

So I decided I'm going to use a bow for my 2nd character, so what are some good skills for a bow user? Also, what's the skill that makes a purple shape of you and attacks the fire with you? Is that at lv 150 like final magic for a mage?

Also, I just discovered star gems. What's the max level of a star gem for things like taming?

 

I think you mean Decoy Shot which yes is a tier 4 Bow skill. Most common used skills by Bow are Snipe, Moeba Shot, Paralysis Shot, Smoke Dust, Crossfire, Decoy Shot, Sneak Attack, Karikiri Ranshin and Brave Aura. Star Gems work same as skills so max level to any is 10 but they can also be upgraded to the next tier skill and trained further.

 

How do you upgrade them? And are certain skills unobtainable by star gem? Like I searched storm on the shopping boards, but found nothing.

 

And aren't ranshin and brave aura katana skills?

 

Kairiki Ranshin is often used by bow players to boost their CF damage. Brave Aura from the support skill tree gives you atk buff if you are inside the radius.

You combine the same stargem to upgrade it, and to evolve it into the next stargem it needs to be lv10, hence it's expensive. For example, you want Magic: Storm. Then you have to start from lv1 Magic: Wall, get it to lv10, then evolve it into lv1 Magic: Blast. Now you'll need 9 more lv1 Magic: Blast stargems, to be able to evolve it into lv1 Magic: Storm. To get it to lv10, you'll need 9 more lv1 Magic: Storm stargems.

 

.... I will stick with the tech tree for storm. Lol

As Jerry said the skills though from different skill trees are used to boost Crossfire damage and any skill can be obtained from stargems the higher tier ones just take a lot of resources and time to obtain.

 

I'm going for taming skills... they're cheap and I sometimes have fun taming.
