Breaking Astol head with p.shoot skill?

I saw a lot of archers able to break astol's head but i couldn't.

My archer is lvl 49 full dex. I have p.shoot at lvl 10.

1)When i get on boss. I run back to have the fartest distance from boss ,which is 16m.

2) i use p.shoot right away ... the cast time is aproximately 3s. Sometime i used that slow shot .... to help with timing.

However the boss ALWAY reach me and use his aoe skill before i can even shoot.


I changed equipment to morning star to reduce cast time. My p.shoot is about 2.10s but the boss always get to me before i can shoot.

So how do those archers able to break 2 parts??

My equipments are
Player crafted bow
player crafted armour
c.earing for mp
sofya ring for mp

 

i used short combo to be able to break Astol's head.
Its Moeba shot -> P.shot(swift)! Give it a try ^^

 

How far away from the astol? I always have problem with distance and timing ;_;

 

Aproximately 10-12m away! Cause swift pretty much make P.shot insta cast...kinda lol

 

Yay . I can break 2 parts now hehe.

I was so happy that i forget to tap. Lool

When i break it again for the 2nd time. My mp bar was reduce to 0. And i have to run around with pico gang behind me.lool
