Build Help

I want to build a Solo character who can mostly deal lots of damages. I'm thinking of making an "1H-FU" build. But I see everyone making this build with stats STR and DEX. But I'm thinking of making my build DEX and AGI. Will it be a good choice? Also how should I manage my skills settings?
Should I make '1H-FU' for SOLO and DPS or should I change to something else? I would like to stay at "Sword" and at most change to "Katana" so give me your opinions guys.

 

AGI doesn't work well for 1h users unless they're dual wielders. STR is better for dps than DEX is because STR increases the damage that cour critical hits do. A good solo stat build is to put 30-50 points into VIT, then put the rest into STR, and once you have finished STR, you can start putting more points into DEX. Because you are making a solo build, you might want to focus on using buster blade since it can heal. Another option is to equip a shield so you can have more defensive abilities, or you could make a full AGI dual wielder for more counter defensive skills and a high dodge rate.

 

What do you have to say about a Katana build?

 

Katanas are mostly meant for dps. You could use skills like magadachi and zantei settetsu to block attacks, but other than that, katanas don't have much utility or tanking purposes since they can only equip daggers as sub-weapons (and your dps will drop drastically if you do that because you won't be able to use two-handed).

 

I'm watching your YouTube channel and I'm quite loving it. Your videos on brawler builds were great.
Now my idea fo the Sword-Fu build is: Dex-200, Agi-100~150 and rest in Vit or Crit no sure which one to pick.
Considering them do you think it would do good for being a Damage dealer? And can it be used for mostly solo plays?
And can you explain the relations between stats and skills and weapons?

 

I don't think it would be a good damage dealer since it would be missing a lot of ATK and critical damage from STR, but it could do a decent job at soloing because of the AGI.

And I have a question, does the skills Bushido and Sukichi work good with one hand swords?

 

I most likely won't be doing a giveaway since I'm not really a rich player, but I might end up doing something at 1k.

Shukuchi does work nice for 1h, but bushido doesn't do much for non-katana builds.
