Build Suggestion: Demon Halberd User

This combines dark power and halberd skills together with some others to make a dark spearman which specializes in last stand type battles. This is an incredibly risky build due to the use of both God Speed Wield and Regretless but the payoff from it is extremely good. You will have a hard time with bosses that make it impossible to touch them and/or spam AoEs centered on themselves.

Suggested Stats:
- STR: MAX
- VIT: 30 - 50
- AGI: 100+
- INT: As per necessary.
- DEX: As per necessary.
- CRT: As much as possible after getting main stats.

If you choose to, you can add DEX for hit rate, MATK and CSPD but that choice is completely yours.

Suggested Skill Trees:
- Halberd [God Speed Wield, Chronos Drive, Dragon Tooth, Dive Impact, Punish Ray, Critical Spear]
- Magic [Impact]
- Mononofu [Shukuchi (Lv1 OK)]
- Guard [Light Armor, Advanced Evasion]
- Shot (All Lv5)[Power Shot, Moeba Shot, Paralysis Shot, Smoke Dust, Arm Break]
- Dark Power [Regretless, Dark Stinger]

This is rather tricky regarding the shot skills as there most likely will never be an instance you use them all in so opting for dagger is ok as well in which case
- Dagger [Amazing Throw, Poison Dagger, Hidden Arm, Intensive Knife, Mail Breaker]

Combo Suggestions:
1) Impact > Dive Impact (Smite) > Cannon Spear (Consec) {AOE Combo}
2) Magic Javalin > Strike Stab (Smite) > Quick Aura (Swift) {Combo consumes HP for use, be careful when spamming}
3) Regretless > God Speed Wield (Consec)
4) Magic Arrows > Magic Lances (Save) > Impact (Consec) > Dragon Tooth (Smite) > Quick Aura (Swift) {1MP DPS Combo, consumes 5% HP, careful when spamming.}
5) Flash Stab > Dark Stinger (Save) > Bloody Bite (Smite)
6) Deadly Spear > Chronos Drive (Save) > Impact (Consec) > Demon Claw (Smite)

Quick Aura may be swapped out in favor of whatever else you feel like putting there.

Combo #3 is the main combo of this build which allows high evasion and AMPR per cast. Quick Aura is also able to be left untagged.

Combo #6, [Chronos Drive] and [Demon Claw] are interchangeable based on if boss spawns adds but Demon Claw is preferable on smite since this isn't a main DPS combo and Demon Claw can be an AoE based on situation.

Combos involving Dagger and Shot skills may be made according to your own preference.

Pros of build:
- HIGH damage due to halberd
- Can easily solo bosses on higher difficulties
- Easy to prorate for damage
- Good Self Recovery Ability (HP and MP)

Cons of build:
- Must continue to keep regretless active once used
- Using GSW with regretless is dangerous during team fights
- Fluctuating HP, might randomly die when not paying attention
- Very BAD at magic based bosses and monsters.
- Poor Compatibility with Shot skills
- Dagger skills are weak.

Notes:
*It is possible to ignore both Dagger and Shot skills and fully utilize halberd along with the [Two-Handed] and [Kairiki Ranshin] skills of mononofu skill tree.
*[Sacrifice] may be used to lower HP intentionally so that [War Cry of Struggle] may be used to recover HP quickly.
*It is recommended to take off auto recovery items and use them manually to manually control HP to use strong skills (Eg: Demon Claw)

Maybe you can spend 1 sp for finale as a combo ender instead of Quick aura

 

The idea is there but quick aura seems like the better option imo. And since we have lowered HP, demon claw becomes viable over time.
